Left exposed and shivering in nothing but a meager piece of clothing, the child cried out in agony as the frigid wind of the mountain shrieked through his body.
He felt the bite of insects of all sizes, their tiny feet leaving scratches on his soft skin, he let out a cry of pain as blood-sucking mosquitoes fed on his blood.
His cries filled the air as his tiny body trembled, the cold stealing away his warmth and his heart beating with pain. it seemed that his father's dark wish would be fulfilled soon, and the child could do nothing but weep.
The child's heart-wrenching cries resounded throughout the treacherous mountain, a signal for the fearsome beast that lurked within its shadows. Among these abominations was the most fearsome and ruthless of them Initaku a creature of legend a bloodthirsty serpent whose ruthless deeds had become the stuff of terrifying legends.
The mere whisper of Initaku's name filled the hearts of travelers with fear and dread. for those who dared cross paths with his heinous creature rarely lived to tell the tale, and those who did, were left crippled and broken, mere shadows of their former selves.
Another fearsome creature that prowled the treacherous trails of the mountain, striking terror into the hearts of all who dared cross its path, was the monstrous Yaiju. Towering over its victims at astonishing feet, this horrific beast bore a striking resemblance to that of a bear.
Yaiju's vicious teeth were like a dragon's claws, fierce and razor-sharp, like blades newly crafted by a blacksmith. These deadly weapons coated in the blood of fallen kings and brave guards had become the instrument of destruction for this monstrous creature, striking terror in the heart of all who crossed its path.
The creature's claws, honed to a razor-sharp edge that rivaled even that of great dragons, had become the stuff of many.
Both drawn by the cries of the infant, the two creatures headed over to where the child was laid. with roars and stomps that could be heard miles away from the mountain.
lusted for blood and the urge to feast on whatever it was making, the two beasts made their way toward the infant with eyes filled with nothing but their mere intent to kill and their jaws ready to devour.
In a matter of minutes initaku the slithering serpent got to where the infant was. Wasting no time, the slithering serpent, a gargantuan creature of horrifying proportions, slithered towards the infant's fragile body with fangs bared, its muscular coils coiled around the tiny body, constricting the fragile form with a cruel and relentless pressure.
The serpent's eyes, lacking any form of empathy or compassion, looked at the infant with an unwavering focus, its cold heartless stare bearing down like the grim reaper's gaze. With a malicious hiss, the creature's fangs descended, poised to tear into the child's skin which had lost the hardening it had moments ago.
But before the reptilian predator could sink its venom into the infant, a monstrous roar emerged from the shadows it was the roar of yaiju. Towering over the serpent and glaring with a murderous rage with a mighty roar, the bear lunged at the serpent, swiping its razor-sharp claws through the air in a deadly arc.
The serpent hissed in fury, writhing and slithering to evade the vicious attack, but the bear was relentless in its assault. The two titans clashed in a violent struggle for supremacy, their massive forms entangled in a deadly dance of tooth and claw. The bear's massive paws slammed down upon the serpent's scaly hide causing a screech of pain from the reptilian beast.
But the serpent was not going to be easily subdued. The serpent writhed with unholy vigor, Its powerful body thrashing, and coiling as it sought to gain the upper hand. With a vicious strike, it sank its venomous fangs into the muscular forearm, eliciting a thunderous roar of pain from the bear.
Despite the pain, the bear retailed with a savage swipe of its mighty paw, sending the serpent swaying back. Yet, the serpent was cunning and quick, its slithering form contouring to evade the bear's strikes.
The bear continued to swing its claws relentlessly but the serpent was a master of deception, using its sinuous body to evade the bear's deadly attack. With each strike, the serpent twisted and contorted, dodging the bear's massive paws with cunning agility.
The ground shook with the force of their struggle, rock splintering, and earth cracking beneath their powerful bodies. But the serpent was not content to play defense, with a flick of its tail, it caught the bear off guard, sending the bear tumbling backward.
Meanwhile, while the two beasts struggled for dominance, the infant was laid on the floor vulnerable and unaware of the danger that it was in.
The two beasts continued to fight for dominance, the serpent coiled up signifying its readiness for another strike, its fangs glistening with venom, but the bear would not be denied of its chance of tasting an infant's meat. With a fearsome roar, the bear surged forward, its powerful limbs crushing the serpent's scaly form beneath its tremendous weight.
The serpent let out a deafening screech of agony, its body writhing in the bear's grip. But the bear showed no mercy, its powerful claws ripping and tearing at the serpent's flesh, spilling its toxic blood across the cold, unforgiving ground.
To make sure it had killed the serpent, yaiju further placed his huge paws on the head of the serpent as its heavyweight crushed the head of the serpent into bits.
With no hesitation,,yaiju made its way toward the helpless infant. The beast towered over the infant, it matted fur stained with the serpent's blood with a growl that showed its ferocity, the bear lowered its massive head, saliva dripping from its jagged teeth as it prepared to consume the vulnerable and helpless infant.
