"Ms..." he suddenly called on her but paused. "Mrs. Hooker, come over to the Xin Group tomorrow to draft our marriage contract. As you should know, this marriage is beneficial to both parties. Loopholes shouldn't be left open." He said changing her honorific title.
"Of course, but I have one tiny favor to ask if I may" she said.
He turned to her as a cold smile washed across his face. "We just got married and you are already asking for favor. Who do you think I am to grant favors from a stranger?"
She decided not to react to the harsh words he said just now and also gave him a cold face.
"This marriage should be kept secret and confidential from the public. You should be the one to hold the certificate." She said flatly as her hands outstretched to hand the certificate to him.
"You say you want a favor and here you are, luv. Throwing orders" he said as he stared into her eyes.
"You do not grant favors to a stranger so I thought you will be capable of accepting orders from a stranger " she deadpanned.
She noticed he was not accepting the papers, she pushed the papers into his chest and he reflexively held them.
"If that will be all" she gave in a faint emotionless smile that didn't reach her eyes and turned around whipping her hair into his face and strode gracefully towards her car.
As she turned around, his expressionless face suddenly changed as different emotions he couldn't even phantom started coming through.
