Erwin never disclosed how many friends Kaira had, so he planned to tell Sam that all the patrons in the bar were Kaira's friends, compelling Sam to foot the bill for everyone!
"Accepted! Why not? You all here are witnesses to our bet, and the loser pays," Sam rejoiced wondering how much could Erwin's cousins friends possibly spend. He also trusted in his victory.
"Waiter, bring us wine!" Sam commanded enthusiastically, ordering the server to present 20 bottle of Royal Salute, each costing 4 million , totalling 80 million rupees.
Lina looked anxious beside Erwin.
"Erwin, what are you thinking? Isn't this just handling them money?"
"It's fine, just watch the show," Erwin soothed, taking Lina's soft hand.
Lina sighed internally, planning to transfer some funds to Erwin in advance, to save him public shame, should he fail to pay.
Twenty bottles of Royal Salute covered the table. "Friends it's time to make money, let the drinking commence."
Thus, Sam, spiritedly lifting a Royal Salute, drank first. Four men followed, popping their own bottles. The remaining woman hesitated.
"Watch as I bankrupt you today." Rose, the first woman to open and drink, inspired others to join. At 20 million per bottle, this was an easier fortune than work.
Soon everyone but Erwin and Lina drank feverishly. Some girls discreetly discarded half their wine- Erwin noticed but did not halt them.
Lina watched with alarm as they drank, while Erwin observed, serene.
"To victory!" Sam, finishing a Royal Salute first, demanded, 20 million, now!"
"I'll transfer it." Erwin, smiling, swiftly transferred 20 million to Sam's account.
"Excellent!" Sam settled the 300 million rupees tab, Sam sensed his triumph.
"Why do you still had money?" Panic filled Sam after another transfer.
"I've got funds, just depends on whether you can keep drinking," Erwin clocked on eyebrows.
"Fine, you win," Sam conceded. He would not risk hospitalization by persisting, but he supposed they had drained Erwin's resources.
"Great, I'll discuss with my cousin and his friends, letting you cover their tab later," Erwin announced, rising and heading out side, with Sam shadowing, sensing dread.
Indeed, Erwin stepped onto the bar stage.
"Hope you're ready to go broke," Erwin stated icily.
Erwin gave the DJ cash, instructing to silence the music.
With no music, the dancing crowd erupted in displeasure.
Fearing an uproar, Erwin quickly announced,"Folks, my cousin and I decided to have fun here tonight, so, if you don't mind, we'd like to cover all of your expenses on my cousin's tab."
Cheers erupted at Erwin's declaration.
Sam's face fell on hearing this, knowing all the bar's expenses would be immense!
"Erwin, how dare you trap me. Don't blame me for getting tough," Sam snarled, whipping out his phone, refusing to be bested by Erwin.
"I still have money, and it depends on whether you can continue drinking or not." Erwin still wanted to let Sam continue drinking again, but Sam was aware of his own body's limits.
"Okay you win." Even though Sam was not satisfied, if he continued drinking, he would definitely end up in the hospital so he chose to give up , however, he had already spent Erwin's 300 million, which could be said to have been achieved because he thought it was Erwin who lost that amount. It will definitely difficult to survive.
