The day of judgement is fast approaching. Both King Alexander and his son, Prince Brandon were unsettled. They both want to win but certainly there could be only one winner for the day. The question is, who could that be?

It was a beautiful evening at the residence of Elder Robert, one of the Wise men in the Kent kingdom. Brandon came to the Wise man through his childhood friend.
"My Prince, please have your seat. I am very excited to host the noble Prince of Kent kingdom and the only heir to the throne. What a wonderful privilege it is. Said the joyful Kane as he received his friend in his house.
"My good friend, I am honoured by your reception. The relaxed Prince responded.
"You are welcome. What did you care for?". Kane asked with a great smile.
"Don't bother, Kane. I am perfectly okay. Prince said.
"Alright! He responded.
"Kane, I need your help. I couldn't sleep last night. I was in deep thoughts throughout the night". The disturbed Prince Brandon said.
"Oh my goodness! Brandon, what happened? What's bothering you? My good friend, please let me know". The curious Kane inquired.
"Is about Olivia, the love of my life". The worried Prince said in a low tone.
"Oh no! What about her, Brandon? You guys had a misunderstanding?". Kane inquired.
"No, Kane, not at all". He answered.
"So, what's up with you guys?". The curious Kane asked.
"My father is against our relationship and he has already pronounced her banishment from the kingdom". The sad Prince Brandon explained.
"Oh mine! That's too harsh if you ask me. The decision was too hasty". Kane opined.
"Yes, you are right! Also inconsiderate and inhuman". Prince Brandon responded.
"But why?". Kane asked.
"Hmmmmm! He wanted me to marry Princess Terra, the daughter of his childhood friend from The Mustard kingdom". Prince Brandon said in a deep voice.
"Wow! A big and classical one if I may say". Said the smiling Kane.
"Kane, please stop. This is not a joking matter. I have been having sleepless nights over this issue". Prince Brandon said.
"Alright, I am so sorry about that. But, how can I help you in this matter?". The curious Kane asked.
"As you know, according to our tradition and culture, King's decision is always subject to approval of the seven Wise men". He stated.
"Yes, I know. Kane responded.
"The judgement will be made public in less than 72 hours".
"I must win, I mustn't be disappointed".
"My father must not defeat me in this struggle".
"I love Olivia so much, my love for her is natural, pure and unconditional".
"I don't want to lose her. No, not at all". The emotional Prince Brandon stated.
"Alright Brandon. How exactly do you want me to help you? Kane inquired.
"Yes, my friend. Your father is one of the noble Wise men of our land. I want you to talk to me on my behalf to vote in my favour on the judgement day". Prince Brandon said.
"My Prince, you are asking for a very difficult thing. Too tedious I must confess". The bothered Kane stated.
"A friend in need is a friend indeed". Kane, you have to help me. I must not lose Olivia. Whatever it will cost you, you must influence your father to vote in my favour".
"Do you know if I win you win and if I lose we shall be disappointed?". The emotional Prince Brandon stated.
"Alright, friend. I will try my best but I can't guarantee you that I will be able to convince my father". Kane declared.
"Alright! That's fine. Brandon responded.
"My father is inside his room. Let me talk to him. Just give me some minutes". Kane said as he left the living room for his father's bedroom.
As Kane left the living room, Prince Brandon's heart was occupied with many thoughts and questions but definitely the major was, will Kane be able to convince his father to vote in my favour?
After a few minutes he heard Kane and his father coming to the living room and his heartbeat velocity greatly increased. He was not sure what it will be.
"My Prince, how are you?". Wise man Robert inquired in a deep voice as he sat on the couch.
"Fine, my elder, the noble Wise man of our land". Prince Brandon responded in a strong tone.
"My Prince, my son told me the reason why you are here. You want me to vote in your favour on the judgement day. Right?". The Wise man Robert asked.
"Oh yes, my elder. You are right. The unfazed Prince Brandon responded.
"Hmmmmm! My Prince, you should know better that we are the mouthpiece of our people and custodians of our enviable heritage. What you are asking for is not only hard but dangerous". The Wise man Robert stated.
At this point the countenance of Prince Brandon changed. He was wondering if it would ever be possible to bring his friend's father to his camp.
After a few seconds, he responded. "My elder, the noble Wise man of our Kingdom, I know but you can help me. I really need your help to come out victorious in this contest with my father. He must not defeat me". The hesitant Prince Brandon responded.
"How I wish I can help you but my decision alone cannot guarantee your victory and besides we are always on the side of justice without sentiment or favouritism". Wise man Robert stated.
"My elder, you can help me to talk to other members to influence their judgement in my favour. I know you can do that for me". He said.
"WHAT! No way, don't even think about that. You want to ruin my honour and reputation I have built over the years? Please, my Prince, that won't be possible".The hesitant Wise man Robert responded in a fainting voice.
"Alright, my elder. Please name your price. I am ready to do anything you want. I must not be a loser in this struggle". The desperate Prince Brandon inquired.
"My Prince, you are taking this matter too far. Easy, please. The unmoved Wise man Robert responded.
"Olivia is my life, my joy and my heartbeat. I don't want to lose her".
"Hmmmmm! Kane exclaimed.
"Okay, my elder. Your son here is my childhood friend. I promise to give him a powerful and juicy post in my cabinet when ascend to the throne". The desperate Prince Brandon stated.
There was silence for a while, as they were staring at each other in reaction to what Prince Brandon said.
"That's fine my Prince, I have heard. Because of my son I will see what I can do". The Wise man Robert responded as he left for his bedroom.
It seems Wise man Robert has gotten an offer he cannot reject or he just applied wisdom to calm the agitation of Prince Brandon. Will the decision of the seven Wise men be just and uncompromised? Well, the judgement day will tell.
