Scott wasn't a man to perform grand gestures, hell he had no idea what she'd make of it as she were mite contrary woman. He pushed open the door to Marie's, which was a flower shop in Ruby Pointe, a bell above it rung out as he stepped inside. The sweet scent of blooming flowers enveloped him, transporting him to a place of nostalgia. It had been a while since he last set foot in this charming shop, and Marie's warm smile was a welcome sight and he knew she was giddy for a little gossip.
"Well, well, well! Look who's finally come out of hibernation." Marie exclaimed, her eyes twinkling with amusement. "Scott Anderson, buying flowers? This is a rare sight indeed!"
Scott chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck. "Hey, Marie. It's been a while."
Marie raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Oh? Do tell. Could it be for the certain lady you were out with last week?"
