Scott hadn't kissed a woman in years, much less let one close to him before, but he let Chloe Harper anyway, Why? She claimed she had been innocent, he found a hard time believing that, if all the evidence had been against her then she was guilty.
Riding his stallion, Ranger across the grazing field lightly was a great way to get some exercise that afternoon. A kiss was nothing, an he sure as hell won't be letting that happen again. He saw Chloe carrying a bag of flour towards the canteen.
"You're glowing today boss." Easton told him when he got off Ranger at the corral. He gave Easton the reins.
"Excuse me?" Scott asked.
"You're glowing like a damn trophy, never seen you like that in years, well, not since last week's big sale." Easton said.
Scott frowned at that. "Don't get too cocky East, I am in fact, not glowing at all."
