VIVIENNE PARKER'S POV
I couldn't help but beam with pride as I read the post online about my children, Smith and Lydia. They were growing up so fast and accomplishing so much. I felt a sense of joy and contentment wash over me as I thought about how far they'd come.
As I turned to face Dr. Cartel, my husband, I couldn't help but share my excitement with him. "I'm just so happy for our children," I said, my voice filled with emotion.
Dr. Cartel smiled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Me too," he replied, his voice warm with affection. "They're growing up to be amazing individuals. We should be proud."
I nodded, feeling grateful for this moment of connection with my husband. It wasn't always easy, being married to a man like Dr. Cartel especially I was once married to an ashole. He was brilliant, but his intensity and focus on his work could be overwhelming at times.
