The two friends walked in silence for a moment, the only sound being the rustling of leaves beneath their feet in the serene Oakwood Park. As they strolled, they approached a cozy cafe near the park's edge. Akai got up to order their drinks and returned with two steaming cups of coffee, setting them down on the small table between them.
"I'll stay at your house today," Charlotte blurted out, breaking the silence.
