Synopsis
A boy stood in silence, his hand held tight to his Aegislash’s handle as the sword wrapped its tassel around the boy’s arm. With resolute eyes, the boy turned and faced the deity of the Diamond Clan, Dialga. Beside him stood a girl, in her hand a glowing crimson ball. And behind her stood a dragon, another god. Palkia slashed. Dialga roared. Space and Time clashed and shattered as the boy was pulled into a crack in the Universe. The girl reached out trying to grab his hand, failing as the boy disappeared into the tear in space and time. ——————————————————— Author here. So just wanted to say thanks for checking out this book. Chapter 1 - Light

Hisui, Galaxy Hall: Laventon's Office

"Corvin, I want you to have this." Akari says, handing me a fragment of a red gemstone. It was fashioned into a necklace, the luminous, scarlet jewel hung off a loop of black twine.

Staring at it, my eyes widen as I suddenly realize that a piece of the RED CHAIN is in the palm of my hand.

"I can't take this!" I immediately shove the Red Chain necklace back into Akari's hands.

"JUST FUCKING TAKE IT!"

"...ok."

"Good." Akari watched as I wore the necklace, a triumphant expression appearing her face.

"Besides, that one was extra from the crafting of the Origin Ball. I also got one of my own."

Akari dug under the collar of her Survey Corp uniform to pull out her own fragment of the Red Chain, connected to a loop of white twine.

"It's kinda like those couple rings, isn't it?" She said, smirking.

"…sure."

"Huh? Are you feeling sick Corvin? Your face is getting kinda red."

" ...shut up." I mutter, pulling down my hood trying to hide my cheeks which I was sure were blushing.

Akari's smirk froze, her smile began twitching, before she exploded into laughter.

"You're way too easy to tease Corvin."

She held her stomach, laughing manically. I just stared as she continued to make amusement of my embarrassment.

' She is the complete opposite of me. Her joy is infectious while I'm dark and depressing to be around.

Some people think I'm scary. Hell, I think some of the other villagers straight up avoid me…

Hah. Honesty, I think it's easier for me to befriend Pokémon than people. ' I think to myself as I continue to look at the giggling girl in front of me.

After a while, Akari's laughter died down and we both briefly found ourselves staring at each other. Her grays eyes stared deep into my purple ones.

In that short moment, a singular thought raced through my mind.

"Beautiful."

And out my mouth too as Akari took one second to realize what I had just said, before her face bloomed into a beautiful shade of crimson red.

"Who's easy to tease now?" I ask as a slight grin grows on my face.

"Yeah you got me with that one."

"Yeah I did."

".….."

".…."

I watch as Akari slowly pulls her feet up onto the chair she's sitting on, she hugs her legs close as she breaks the awkward silence.

"Hey Corvin. Can you promise me something would you?"

"Yeah, of course… as long as it's something I'm capable of."

"Then… can you promise me… that after this whole disaster with the gods is over, that you won't leave me and the Survey Corp behind."

I paused, I could feel my lips twitching as I responded to the weird promise by laughing. "H- hey! There's nothing funny about this! I'm being serious!"

"Uh huh... sorry! Yeah I know. But you never have to worry about that. I wouldn't leave you."

"You promise?" Akari asked, as she held out her pinky, making me stare at it, and then her in disbelief.

"What are you? Ten?"

Akari shot me a cute but icy glare.

"Do it."

"Alright, alright!" I conceded as my larger pinky coiled around hers.

"I promise you Akari, that I will never leave you."

' Because I think I may have already fallen for you. '

Hisui, Mt Coronet: Temple of Sinnoh

RRRRAAAAAAAGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH

"ADAMAN! What the hell is that thing?!"

I call out as I stand in front of Akari, raising the sword and shield of Kūsho in front of me.

I slash and defend against the oncoming dust and debris that the fat, blue, four-legged fuck decided to throw around.

"WHAT! How am I supposed to know!?" Adaman exclaimed, poking his head out from behind a shattered pillar. He ducked as a fragmented head of a statue flew past him.

"BECAUSE IT'S YOUR FUCKING GOD, DUMBASS!!"

I yell as I deflect multiple, sharp pieces of quartz launched his way.

"Don't you worship this thing?!"

"Yeah, we do! But that doesn't mean I know everything about it! Why don't you ask the pink one?!"

"That is NOT Almighty Palkia's name Adaman!" Irida shouted from behind her respective pillar before turning to me.

"Lord Palkia told me that its called Dialga! It's the god of time so please be careful!"

I nod and raise the black shield on my arm in response to growing inferno of purplish blue flames in Dialga's mouth.

"Kūsho! King's Shield!"

A large, hexagonal barrier formed in front of the shield as soon as the words left my mouth.

Draconic fire slammed into us, causing me to wince as the force of the attack pushed me backwards, forcing me to stab Kūsho's blade into the ground to stay upright.

*Crack*

Dialga's powerful flames continued to damage the barrier, causing numerous cracks to appear on the energy shield, traveling outwards from the center.

Then, after seconds of continuous assault, the barrier shattered. The fragments dissipating into the wind.

BOOOOOOOM

The full force of Dialga's Dragon Breath crashed into Kūsho, causing the sword to cry out as the attack from the legendary scorched the metal of its shield.

"You alright Kūsho?"

"Slash!" One of the sword's purple tassels gave me a thumbs up.

Looking over the shield, I could see the black burns covering Kūsho. I glanced up at Dialga, who stared back.

Now I started to feel the suffocating pressure it was exerting, my body struggled to move, the god's aura slowing my actions.

Then…Light.

Blinding light exploded in all directions, with Dialga at its center.

I watched as the light swirled around, surrounding the god like a Butterfree's cocoon, expanding and continuing to consume all of the temple in its radiance.

As the light died down, I blinked and looked around, squinting, trying to clear my vision of the earlier flash.

Only to come face to face with… whatever the hell that thing is.

It looked like if a person saw Dialga and tried to recreate it while they were dead drunk, so they only scrapped together the little pieces they could remember.

Gone were the four powerful legs that supported it before, and replacing them were two massive front legs, both ending in 3 prongs, and two slender hind legs.

Its head now had long horns and was covered in metal armor. At the base of its neck rests a giant boxy crystal.

A cyan ring hugged its abdomen and at its rear was a large fan like structure.

The almighty dragon of time just turned into…

a fucking horse?!?

RRRRAAAAAAAGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH

' What was the phrase that Akari liked to use?'

'Oh yeah… '

"We are so fucked."
