Chapter Forty-Three: Weapon Training II
There was silence amongst the students when Alexandria Feloncia's weapon broke to pieces.
Sir Zenith had told them that the destruction of their weapons meant they lost and even if Alexandria wasn't there when it was said, he knew that's what would happen.
He looked down at the weapon, with deep regret. "M-Maybe, I shouldn't have hit it on his trident too much. Maybe I shouldn't have…"
Suddenly, he began shouting dramatically, trying to gather up the pieces of halberd and hoping they'd magically become one.
The class's silence turned to laughter.
Zenith sighed and canceled the pass mark he had given to the boy. He gestured to Nero. "Next, and please don't make such a mistake."
Nero looked more disappointed than Sir Zenith. He nodded and dragged his spear with him, with an air of vengeance, towards A'lessander of Miano.
