Chapter Forty-Nine: Damag… Results.
Kawaya rescued Aleksandra from being frozen by the ice sheets and Alexandria cheerfully volunteered to send current through her body to warm her up, even if she'd rather just pace around till she sweats.
"Ah, yes, we have language class now, not Sir Zenith." She said when she felt better. "But… the language teacher isn't at school so… it's a free period!" she made a small dance, but stopped when no one cheered with her. "Free period is good, no?"
Alexandria shrugged. "Well, we have a teacher who can teach us, why waste the time doing nothing?"
Even if Kawaya agreed, he and Aleksandra still looked stunned that Alexandria wanted to use the free period to actually learn.
He usually headed the chaos department, along with Tomah and the twins, to make sure no teacher used any free period available and that's why no teacher tried to take the period even if they knew the language teacher wasn't around.
