Chapter Fifty-Two: Change Weapons
Alez had thought he'd see more of Zenith Ichiban as the powerful SSSSS-Rank Mage but what he saw more of was a Mage transitioning into a teacher, a secretly unhinged one.
Sir Zenith must've chosen this path to experience something new and not as any form of training.
Alez shook his head. "No, thanks, Sir. We were just curious after you suddenly teleported. Are you trying to make the weapons stronger?"
"Yeah." Zenith folded his arms and a thicker halberd emerged from the gathered pieces. "Even if you are in teams, you should still pull your own weight."
He held the halberd and touched the edges, he nodded when it was sharp enough. "Thicker weapons will make you students more careful."
Alez sighed. His teacher said thicker but obviously meant sharper, it was really a sadistic case.
He turned to return to the others but paused. "Um… thank you for helping Alexandria today. I shouldn't but yeah, thanks."
