She says as she leads me through the trees and towards a small pond. "...Didn't you use Commander Emerald's name though? That should cause some problems wouldn't it?" In response to my concern she shakes her head. "It should be fine! He won't mind if its just once or twice!"
'But this is the 6th time...'
Leaving the dragon after spending 10 or so minutes with it I regret letting the Ruby Dragon leave but I bring out the card of Garnet Dragon and push my Ba into the card. In response the card glows slightly as the card floats out of my hand and transforms into Garnet Dragon.
Standing on all fours the dragon turns around and slightly bows to me. "Hello Commander. What am I needed for?" Over the months Garnet Dragons has gotten more receptive to my superiority. "Take me to the meeting called recently, you should've been informed of its location."
Garnet Dragon nods and I climb on his back. Lifting off he flies over towards on of the other spires, the tallest one in fact which glistens in a bright shine of multiple colors due to the high hanging sun.
Garnet Dragon reaches a unnatural ledge carved out of the thick spire. Landing on the large platform I swipe my hair back into place and drop off of the dragons back. "Thank you." Thanking the dragon I walk striaght forward with Garnet Dragon behind me.
Entering the spire its insides are hollowed out with the glistening crystals and gems giving a stained glass feel, coloring the entire well carved room in a gentle light. The room itself is well carved with the rare wood furniture as the chairs are made of a nice dark wood with gems embedded within the wood.
A large ltable is in the middle of the room, unlike the chairs its made out of a marble like rock covered in colorful gems with large gems stones at each "corner" of the table in every cardinal direction and mid points.
Behind every gem is a chair each having the same gems embedded in them as the gem their in front of. Garnet Dragon goes over and sits on the chair in front of a dark and slightly muddy red gem. I walk over to a chair in front of a clear stone in a crystalline shape unlike the clearly carved gems.
Taking my seat I'm in the southeastern chair in relation to the biggest chair which has a dark blue stone with yellow lines streaking the gem in such a way it looks like lighting struck the gem and froze inside of it.
hearing the flaps of multiple dragons I turn slightly in my chair and look back I see Diamond Dragon, Emerald Dragon, a Sapphire Dragon, and the same Ruby Dragon I saw not too long ago.
Wasting no time Emerald Dragon, Sapphire Dragon, and Diamond Dragon sit down in their chairs which are obviously bigger than mine. Although the Ruby Dragon lieutenant goes behind the Ruby gemstone and bows towards it before taking a seat in a divot behind the large chair.
Emerald Dragon speaks as Ruby Dragon sits down. "The meeting can now commence, as General Labradorite and General Ruby along with most of their lieutenants are still on the eastern front."
As Emerald Dragon brings a claw up to his gemstone the rest of the dragons do the same and I bring my hands together and tap the uncarved gem with my forehead. 'Their culture makes no sense. An unproven leader must bring their achievements to the council to have their gem refined. Makes no sense.'
Not speaking my mind I remove my head from the gem and unclasp my hands. "This meeting is now commenced." Speaking to me directly the dragon continues. "We will go in clarity order as always. Diamond Dragon please go first."
Diamond Dragon nods at the older dragon and flashes his Ka cracking a pale green gemstone in his hand causing multiple papers if varing sizes to appear. "Firstly, I'll bring up a updated report on the current situation of the southern and southeastern front. To begin the Wish Dragons-"
Tuning out of Diamond Dragons report I summarize it in my head. 'The same shit. The battle of layer mountain and a couple other little skirmishes. The main thing is that he's gonna make me look like the best person in the world.'
Watching Diamond Dragon give me my credit both Emerald Dragon and Sapphire Dragon nod along while giving what they think to be subtle glances at my unrefined genstone.
'These dragons have got to learn how to be subtle they're lacking.'
