A week later, Brandon received an email that they were all requested to meet Philip in his office.
He switched off the screen and moved his head to the side. Brown hair spread all over the pillars and only a little bit of her face along with her arm was out of the covers.
He winced. What was her name again?
"Hey," he caressed her cheek, "morning, love."
The girl stretched and hummed. The stretch resulted in the blanket moving and uncovering her chest. Brandon's eyes dropped down before they moved up to look at her face again. That was impressive.
"Morning." She smiled and leaned in for a kiss. "Another round?"
Bran chuckled. "I would love to, but I have somewhere to be in an hour—"
"Hour," she purred and lightly grazed her nails on his chest, "I know how to be quick."
Quick it was, then.
*******
He was late. Fuck.
The quick round had started from one in the bed and then turned into the second one quickly when they hit the shower. Well, that was on Kate because she surprised him in the shower.
Thankfully, he had retained the driver, his grandfather had and just 15 minutes later, he had reached the law firm.
"Hey," he stopped by the reception, " I have a meeting with Edward Philip."
"Yes, he would be in conference room number three, on the 14th floor."
He rushed inside, as directed and the moment he stepped out of the lift, he found the conference hall. Thankfully, it was just Annabel.
"Brandon." Philip nodded and his direction. "Please have a seat."
"Thank you." he said as he settled on the side in front of his aunt Annabel. Since his aunts were going to sit together, it only made sense that he sat on the side opposite to them.
Five minutes later, Victoria stepped into the room and went for the chair, right on Annabel's side.
"Let us get a business now, shall we? Have you chosen between the two?"
"Are there any other options than the two you have provided us?" Annaebep quickly asked. "I have a daughter who is not yet prepared to fight for the chair. That would mean only three of the five grandchildren would be able to compete."
"Unfortunately, a bachelor in business is required. Which means if she cannot participate, she can get a job as a regular employee, but that is it. She would not be participating to be the CEO of Wallace construction."
Brandon controlled his wince. That was going to hurt the ego of his aunt because two of them had two children under the age of 20. One was still in high school, while the other one was in Europe, enjoying the trip funded by one of her late grandfather's credit cards.
"Then," Victoria narrowed her eyes at the table, "we are going to proceed with the first option. What is going to happen now?"
"Annabel, do you agree with it?"
"Yes."
"Bran?"
He nodded. "I choose it too."
Of course, his aunt was going to choose an option that was not going to harm her completely. Because if she chooses the second option, it would not even be a game of participation because he would get all of it.
At least in the first one, the children would get to do something.
Philip, pulled out three files after getting all of their acceptance and pushed them into every individual's direction.
"I would have much preferred if your children were here, Annabel and Victoria. Make sure to pass these onto them and as soon as they sign it, I would like one copy sent to my office."
Bran opened his file as she continued listening.
"There are not a lot of conditions to follow, but remember that does not mean you found loopholes for yourself. The participants cannot be fired, cannot use any money other than what they get initially at the start and after what they earn, they cannot change companies and they have to work at the same company with one promotion, at least for the next three years."
Philip continued, "I have taken the liberty to choose the countries. Brandon, he will move to Manhattan, New York. James will move to Australia and Sector, your son is fluent in German, he's going to move to Germany. All of you will be given an initial amount of £50,000 that he will use to settle in the countries and know more than that. You will be allowed to move into the country a week before your day starts. Any questions?"
None, there were no questions asked by anyone. But there was one thought that the next three years were going to be either extremely hard to deal with, or they would pass away so quickly that he would not even realize it.
