The two children were on the large sofa in the living room. Josie sat quietly in one corner, while Agente was next to her, earnestly telling her something. Agente kept calling Josie "little sister" and occasionally handed her some snacks. When he saw her come in, Agente immediately ran over and hugged her,
"Mommy, you're here!"
"Hmm!"
She bent down and patted Agente's head. Agente eagerly told her,
"Mommy, I'm telling Josie a story. Josie is so good and likes it so much!"
It was clear that Agente really liked Josie. With such a small, gentle sister, Agente devoted all his protective instincts to her.
Clarisse walked over to the sofa and picked up Josie,
"Josie, let's go home with Mommy?"
Josie nodded. As she turned to leave with Josie in her arms, Jonathan, who was standing there, said,
"I left dinner for you…"
"It's really not necessary. Thank you so much for picking up Josie today!"
