Chapter 76- parent-child
A few days after Jonathan and Clarisse's meeting, in a small conference room, only Cecilia remained after the meeting. Just as Cecilia was about to leave, her phone rang, so she sat back down to answer it. On the other end of the line, a certain little rascal spoke with a serious tone:
"Cecilia, get off work early today and come with me to meet someone!"
She was exasperated and retorted, "Agente, could you stop talking to me like that? Can't you speak like a normal person instead of giving orders like a child?"
"I'll be waiting for you at the school gate!"
The little rascal completely ignored her warning and, with a cool remark, ended the call. If it weren't for the two elegant ladies still sitting nearby, Cecilia would have exploded with foul language. She shook her head and took a sip of water from her cup, feeling quite disgruntled.
