Clarisse hung up the phone with Farah and walked over to Jonathan, who was lazily sitting in a chair on the balcony reading a book. She leaned down and gently kissed his well-defined cheek.

She was grateful for his willingness to help her friend find happiness. Earlier, Bruno had contacted them, and Jonathan agreed to step in, which touched her deeply. After all, Farah was her best friend, and there was nothing that made her happier than seeing Farah content.
The winter sunlight streamed through the bright floor-to-ceiling glass, warming the entire balcony, creating a cozy and pleasant atmosphere. Jonathan set his book aside and pulled her into his embrace, a smile of affection in his eyes.
