Chase had disabled the electric barrier, relieving the air of electricity and flew out of the school before calling his aunt to apologise about destroying the school again in which she replied by telling him to see her after school tomorrow for detention which was, to be expected.
He sighed, "Long day."

Kate was on her way home from the Tennyson's house when an unsettling feeling was implemented into her heart. She walked cautiously, trying to subtly look around but not as to let the other person know that she knew that there was someone there but she calmed down when she saw a familiar black haired boy standing in front of her.
"Hey Chase!" She exclaimed, greeting the boy in front of her, "How was school?"
Chase didn't answer and moved past her. She was quite offended but didn't say anything as he turned into a street, a couple of meters behind her.
'Whatever.' She thought as she continued along her way. A couple of seconds later, she sensed a presence behind herself and turned around just in time to see an energy ball being flunged straight at her.
'What the hell!' She thought to herself as she parried it, 'Who's insane enough to fire an energy blast in a residential areas?"
She looked around but saw no one. She wanted to tell that individual that she knew that they were there but she held back. Just then, a figure moved swiftly with a dark energy ball in his hand. She saw the movement out of the corner of her eye and threw a punch but it missed. She looked down and saw how the energy ball was near her stomach. She was quite late to be able to avoid it and took the full impact of it but instead of blowing up, it made her fly up into the sky and exploded there before throwing her into a nearby forest.
The individual wasn't done and followed her wherever she had landed. As soon as an explosion was heard, police rushed to the scene but seemed to have found nothing yet and decided to patrol the streets for a bit to fish out suspicious activities.
Kate coughed a bit and stood up, analysing her surroundings.
'Where is this?' She asked herself, 'never been here before and, where is that idiot?'
A bunch of leaves rustled causing her to violently turn to face the noise and was about to blast whatever was there but remembered that she was in a forest and it could burn up pretty easily so she waited, trying to find the attacker's location and suddenly, someone appeared in front of her.
"Chase?" Kate asked, quite shocked and confused, "What are you doing here? Didn't you go home?"
"Yeah, " He replied as he walked towards her, "to drop off my bag."
That was the only thing he said before attacking her. He went for a punch but she dodged it and countered with a side kick to his stomach, throwing Chase backwards a bit.
"What's gone into you Chase?" She asked, obviously confused by all that was happening, "you weren't like this before."
Chase said nothing and attacked again but, this time he went faster. He appeared in front of her in mid air and went for a roundhouse kick. She blocked it but hadn't excepted the spinning back kick that followed. The kick connected and she went flying into a nearby tree trunk but she planted her feet in the ground and managed to stop the collision. Once she regained her balance, she looked around for Chase who didn't appear to be in front of her anymore.
"Come on Chase!" She shouted as she looked around, "How about you stop this?"
No answer.
"Chase?"
Something that sounded like a tree trunk being broken was heard and she quickly turned around to find a huge tree falling on top of her. Reacting quickly, she moved but her head hit a tree as soon as she did that.
"Ow!" She exclaimed in pain as she wiped a bit of blood off of her forehead, "What was that?"
Her first question was answered when she looked up to find an ice wall standing on either side of her as well as behind her, making it difficult for her to escape the falling tree. She had to break free but she didn't want to use any type of power since blowing up the tree could leave energy particles in the air making it easier to light up a fire and since they were in a forest, a forest fire wasn't going to be pretty.
Whatever. Better to be safe than sorry.
She raised her hand and fired at the tree, effectively causing it to blow up and attracting attention from the police who were still patrolling the streets.
'The police are coming.' She thought as she heard a couple of sirens as well as a police chopper coming closer as she flew out of her ice prison, 'Where's Chase?'
Chase had also heard the police sirens and he figured that he needed to hurry up before they arrived at the scene considering the fact that some of them were flying towards them.
"You have 3 minutes master." Tridius telepathically communicated. The reason he could tell was because he had a view of the forest and the police as he was on a nearby mountain and had an eagle's eyesight... 3 minutes was a close estimate.
Chase looked up and saw Kate looking around, stretched his hand and fired an energy wave. Kate noticed something shine next to the trees and something heading towards her at a fast pace before she dodged and flew towards Chase.
"Everyone in the forest come out and put your hands over your heads!" A voice shouted over a megaphone.
"2 minutes 30 seconds"
Kate didn't listen to the instruction given as she still needed to ask Chase why he had attacked her and where did he get power from. She flew towards Chase with a kick but he grabbed her foot with his left hand, pulled her downwards and rewarded her with an uppercut. Her head tilted backwards, bits of blood spewed from her mouth and Chase let go as her head tilted backwards yet Chase wasn't done there, he grabbed her face and smashed it against the ground.
"2 minutes master!" Tridius reminded him. Those minutes were not for when the police was going to arrive but were for Chase to escape from the police without being identified and without the police being unto him so, he had to leave quickly.
But, he couldn't leave Kate like that.
He cut another huge tree down and carried it in his hand as he took a couple of steps backwards.
"Sorry kate, " He whispered, "No hard feelings."
When he put enough distance between himself and Kate, he lifted the tree and bashed her body with it.
"Your turn Triz." He telepathically told Tridius as he started walking down a hill, not looking back at the girl buried beneath the tree.
"Alright." Tridius responded as he appeared at his master's side and transformed into his original form. The familiar could appear wherever the master was so that explains why Tridius was there immediately.
They arrived at the end of the forest and appeared into a road. Tridius turned and blew, turning the forest whiter and whiter by the second as a violent wind took the forest and everyone in it by surprise.
Tridius changed back into his smaller form and climbed unto his master's shoulder before Chase flew up into the sky and made his way back home.

"An explosion at Acer high has alerted the police but they haven't intervened as principal Maria Pierce has made the police department not intervene in matters concerning her school," The news reporter said, informing her audience, "But wait, there appears to be a bunch of ambulances there but from what we can see, a student is being transported into an ambulance but we have no way of capturing their face as the paramedics want to have some space. We asked the security guards if they had managed to see what had happened but they only knew that the student inside was female but, they haven't seen the assailant. This was the afternoon news with Tom Wilos."
This was about 20 minutes ago.
A violent snow storm has taken over the forest of Mystral and a police helicopter might have been lost in there. The storm shows no sign of stopping and police believe that other people besides the police helicopter and it's passengers might still be stuck there. Whether it be a bizarre phenomenon or a villain attack, the police would tell us. But, the latter might be more believable as there has been two explosions in less than 15 minutes...." The current news channel displayed.
"Well that's terrible, " May said, shaking her head as she turned the volume of the TV down, "2 attacks in one day and in a time span of less than an hour, I hope those people are okay and the police better arrest that fiend."
"I hope Kate is alright since she was outside when it happened." Lazuli said, clearly worrying about her best friend.
"Don't worry about it sweety, " May said, trying to comfort her daughter, "her house is at ten or so minutes from here, so she should be fine."
"I guess you're right, " She said, still not convinced.
"I mean, the first explosion happened ten minutes after she left, she should be fine." May was probably trying to reassure herself since she really liked Kate and her and Kate's mother have been friends for too long so if anything happened to her daughter, May wouldn't have been able to forgive herself considering the fact that Kate was like a daughter to her.
"Maybe I should call her." Lazuli said as she picked up her phone.
"You go do that." May said as soon as the front door opened and Chase entered the house with his bag. "Well you're awfully late! Where have you been!?"
"With Aunt Maria." He simply replied as he headed upstairs. May didn't ask any more questions since she knew that it was true since Maria had called her to inform her that Chase was with her but had left out the detention part.
"Chase! Chase!" Lazuli shouted from the bottom of the stairs, making him look back. "Did you see Kate on the way back from school?"
"Yeah, " He admitted, "She went into a supermarket and on my way home, I saw her coming out and going up her street."
That was a completely white faced lie. The nearest supermarket was at 20 minutes from their house so it would have taken Kate 30 minutes to go to the supermarket and head back home. Chase came back home in less than 15 minutes but the first time he had passed the gates of the house, the family didn't know as he dropped his bag at the entrance and flew out of the property to catch up to Kate and jump her.
But the family didn't bother trying to think about what he said and accepted it. Lazuli tucked her phone back into her pocket and went back to sit with May.
"Don't make too much noise up there, Lily's asleep." Lazuli warned him.
"She's been asleep for quite some time." May recalled, "ever since she came back from school. She didn't want to talk and just went into her bedroom and now i'm told that she's asleep. *sigh*"
Chase wasn't listening anymore and headed into his room, changed into a red top, grey tracksuit bottom and a hoodie on top.
"Oh right." He said, remembering something. He clicked his fingers and headed out of his room, standing in front of Lily's.
'I guess I gotta chat to her now huh?'
