When Odo left, Marcela stepped into the room and took a seat while Lady Kassandra rolled her eyes in exasperation. She hated her coward of a husband and had gone past waiting for him to do something to change their situation.
She had done everything that she could do so that he would take the throne but he had just plodded along stupidly and allowed Kael take the throne despite the fact that he was cripple. It had been left to her to take the reins herself.
Seeing as there was no other thing she could do to push him forward, she had bade her time and waited for the right moment to strike. And from all appearances now was the right moment, the climax of all that she had worked so hard for.
