Sebastian POV
I could still hear her crying softly in the other room as I dressed up.
I felt like a monster – like my father after he would beat my mom, collect the money she had dress up and go to the bar. Only this time, I didn't use my fists on Sienna. It was my words. I stared at the stranger in the mirror, as I buttoned up my suit jacket… I could barely recognize him but, I had to be him.
I have to be Mr Black and not Sebastian Grey. I couldn't go back to the life that I'd wanted to run away from for the longest time. The life were I had to work three shifts on weekdays and five shifts on weekends. Where I had to save for months to buy something as easy as a pair of trousers? The life where I had to give up on doing a lot of things because they didn't seem worth wasting money on.
Everything, I've built now… everything that I have, I couldn't give it up for Sienna.
