Sebastian kept his word.
After I finished the two-hour torturous interview session, seeing him leaning causally against his car with his hands akimbo boosted my morale. The interview was a disaster.
For some reason, the interviewer didn't seem to like me and kept cutting me short or making weird facial expressions at me when I was speaking – as if I was lying and I couldn't do anything about it. I just had to sit through the entire exercise feeling like I was being punished.
"Hi!" I greeted him warmly as soon as I went over to him. "Did you wait for long?" I asked as a way to start a conversation with him but he ignored me and slipped into his car, making me open the passenger seat as I slipped in beside him.
"I was thinking we could make a quick stop at the supermarket; I don't think there's enough ingredient at home for the curry stew,".
I can't believe he was still thinking about food.
