Sebastian POV
The quiet hum of the car's engine did nothing to calm the storm brewing inside me. My fingers drummed against the steering wheel as I drove through the winding streets, my mind running through everything that was about to unfold. I was about to meet Sienna, and this wasn't going to be an easy conversation. Not by a long shot.
I pulled into the parking lot of the dimly lit hotel and turned off the engine. The video I was about to show her was heavy—far heavier than I'd anticipated when I first got it from Felicia. This was more than just uncovering Monty's vendetta against her family. This was about her entire life unravelling in front of her eyes.
I found Sienna sitting in one of the private booths of the hotel's restaurant, her gaze far away. Even from a distance, I could see the weight she carried. Her eyes flickered up as I approached, and for a brief second, I saw the exhaustion behind her carefully composed face.
