ILAY'S POV
****************************
She coughed out more blood as her head drooped forward from exhaustion, hunger, or death calling. It had to be one or all of those, and yet, the bitter glare in those eyes remained.
"Come on Aya, we've been through this a thousand times. I'm being nice here you know."
She scoffed raising her head to scowl at me just like her sister usually did. "Nice? Why don't you just kill me? Why dirty your hands with my blood every day?"
I grinned leaning forward from the chair facing hers and lifted her chin for a better look into those black eyes. "Because it's more fun this way. Also, my wife might be sad if she knew I killed her sister. She begged for your life with hers."
Aya's eyes enlarged processing my words. "Ka...Kally? What have you done to her? She's just a child!" Aya yelled and tried to headbutt me but I swiftly dashed out of the way.
I laughed resting my back on the wooden chair, entertained by these sisters. They cared for each other but their bond had weakened because of one of them.
"You should see how she loves sucking dicks. Mmm, the best sight in the world."
"Shut up!" Aya screamed wriggling on her chair bound by the ropes.
"She sucks better than you di-"
"I swear I'll kill you! Release her!"
My grin only widened further seeing the helplessness on Aya's face trying to protect her little sister with no means.
"And then what? Who will warm my bed?"
"I'll do it," she spat through gritted teeth, ceasing the meaningless struggles. "I'll do everything she does for you. You can fuck me anywhere and anytime, however you like. Just stop tainting my sister!"
I laughed feeling oddly amused. I wasn't one to care about family, but witnessing Aya's hypocritical love made me want to cackle till my ribs cracked. "Oh, Aya." I wiped the tears from my eyes with my thumb, feeling relaxed from the laugh. "You knew my ways from the start and yet you had to betray me. Why didn't you think of your poor sister then, hm? I love selfish people, but, I'm disgusted by righteous actors like yourself."
She didn't talk back. Of course, my words were true and anyone with a functioning brain could see her pretense.
"Oh, and... Kally is doing quite alright. You can't replace her at this point Aya. She's such a dream, matches my taste, and has brought so much life to that family of mine. Would you like to see her?"
Her eyes left mine, hiding her embarrassment and humiliation.
Without the need for words, I read the answer on her face. And just like that, a brilliant idea popped into my mind. Why not add another puppet in the house?

KALLY'S POV
**********************************
Hailey pouted on the screen. "I wanna visit," she cried. "Please, Kally. You abandoned me a second time, this isn't what friends do."
"Um..." I rubbed my temple wondering what to say to her. "Let me talk to my sis-"
The door clicked opening and I spotted Ilay's head visible on the screen at the bottom corner. Gasping slightly, my hand smacked the laptop shut.
My heart's hard thumps were dramatic, to be honest. Maybe because Ilay had caught me lying on his bed, or because I was using his laptop which oddly, didn't have a password.
Our gazes met, but he didn't say or breathe a word to me. Just headed right into the bathroom while pulling the gray t-shirt off of his body.
When the door shut behind him, I was left frowning. What was his attitude? He should have said something irritating or asked me to blow him as usual. But he just ignored me.
Fuck! His silence was more scary than his murderous nature.
Or had he grown tired of me already?
After what happened between me and his brothers a week prior, he seemed a bit distant. He hadn't even asked me to do anything to him, not even a kiss.
While he was busy ignoring me, Milan tried severally to ask me out but I rejected him every single time. Not because I was loyal to Ilay, but because it was fun playing with him.
Luka, well, he was still playing low, occasionally checking up on me. He had bought me a blue teddy which Ilay ripped apart the second he saw it in the room.
That was expected of him, but this current behavior was odd to me.
Was it related to Drakon? If it was, I couldn't help him with that, not when my sister was the root of his current problems.
Shit! I hadn't asked about Aya for almost three weeks since arriving in Russia.
Yes, I blamed her for how my life had changed and wanted to slap the daylight out of her, but she was probably the only person I wanted to talk to. She met Ilay before me and even married him.
Had she been in love with him? Probably not. People never betray the ones they love. So, so what made her marry him? Money? Possibly.
"Ack! This is so maddening," I groaned pressing a pillow on my face. "I should go and talk to Ilay. But... he'll get angry and toss me out. I'm not ready to leave just yet. Not before I get his money."
*************************************
She was back. Elena Volkov, Milan's wife.
And suddenly, the entire house shifted from carefree to behaved souls walking around. Even the twins seemed different at the dinner table as I shared my first meal with her.
Two of Ilay's sisters had gone on a trip, his dad was also away for business, and Ilay was still in his room.
'This is fucking awkward,' I told myself as I took a bite of the chicken the cook had prepared for me.
"How old are you?" Elena asked and most eyes floated to her, including my own pair.
Catching her intense stare on me, I put the fork down and picked up my glass of water.
"Why?" I asked lightly, looking at her from the corner of my eyes.
"You look like a seventeen-year-old," she answered flatly.
Putting the glass back down, I smiled. "Thank you for the compliment. But I'm of legal age to make my own decisions."
"Did he threaten you? Or how much money did he offer you to act as his wife?" Her tone was a bit fierce, making me feel quite intrigued. What was she afraid of?
I placed my chin on my palms, my elbows placed on either side of my plate. "How much do you think he offered?" I teased with a sly smile.
Milan's knife cluttered on his plate, yet neither Elena nor I paid any attention to him.
"I'll double whatever he offered. Just divorce him. You are aware that he already had a fiancee before you came. It's only reasonable to get out of her way."
"Mmm... What if I don't want to?"
"Kally," Faina breathed butting in. "My sister is the perfect match for Ilay. He'll need the full support of our family when he becomes the Czar. If you love him, you should do what's best for him."
"Don't be stubborn Kally," Irina also joined the conversation, her lips curved in an evil smile. "You've realized by now that you have no power or ability to help him."
Listening to the three women join forces to try and kick me out was exciting. Never in my life had I imagined that I'd be a headache to such a powerful family.
