The world was a strange place, there were so many things that didn't make sense and even so, we humans still made it happen. Even thousands of years ago, humans had so little and made so much. They used to believe in all kinds of things, unnatural powers, curses, or gift. I guess it has been fading away over the years. These days, humans don't believe in anything anymore. Life became boring and didn't look that spectacular. That was at least what Nina thought before all the chaos happened. It became a world you wouldn't recognize, a world unknown and full of mystery. The moon became red from all the lost souls in the heavens, tears falling upon her small village. What was once peaceful ended in great sorrow.
Nina used to know all the answers and then someday, suddenly she forgot everything. The same questions she'd been asking herself every day and never been able to find the right answers.
It happened eleven years ago on a warm summer day when Nina still knew her given name Bine. Bine was on my way to Dole-Jura airport in France with my butler Ole. After begging her parents to go all the way to France, they finally let her go. Far away from home, but not unprotected. Ole has been by her side for as long as she can remember, he's her best friend. She looked outside at the mountains with the window rolled down, letting the warm summer breeze blow through her snow-white wavy hair. The car drove over the small road next to a cliff with threes and sharp rocks. It's a beautiful view with a clear open sky but also a long way down and a deathly fall.
"Did you enjoy your weekend in France Bine?" Ole asked when he glanced up at her through his black sunglasses, seeing him crack a smile in the rearview mirror.
"Yes, the Antique theater of Lugdunum was beautiful. They even had a performance." She answered with the biggest smile on her face.
"And do you know who built that?"
She grinned back at him. "Yes, Emperor Augustus had it built fifteen years before Jesus Christ," she said very loudly. History is her specialty and she knows all the answers because she wants to know them all.
"Very good," he smiled back at approval. It was stupid to even ask her that when he knew that she knew them all - well, she likes to at least think that.
"When will we be there?"
"Just forty-three more minutes until we get to the airport."
Only forty-three minutes before we get to our private plane and go home. Bine looks out the window with her hand riding the waves of the wind. As Ole drove further over the road, a car from behind the curve came towards them. It seemed that the driver from the other car hadn't noticed them at all and was driving at an incredible speed. When suddenly he came from behind the curve, his eyes landed on the car. He lost control of his steering wheel, trying to avoid them, but it was no use. He still bumped into the car.
"Oh no!" Ole is screaming out the words faster than the car hitting us. He pulls aggressively on his steering wheel to make the car go left so he can avoid crashing into the other car but doesn't succeed. The car hits their bumper, dragging them to the cliff. Bine looked behind her at the scarp rocks and trees, screaming in fear, screaming louder than the cracking noises from the wheels that were sliding over the sand. Ole can only do so much and tries to keep on going forward instead of backward to their death. Dust clouds are piling up, and sand is coming inside the car through Bine's window. One of the wheels is losing ground when the earth underneath falls down the cliff. The car was slowly turning, gravity was stronger, and soon, the last wheel at the back of the car was off the ground. The car in front of us seemed to have disappeared when all she could see was the clear sky through the dust clouds. Bine doesn't even dare to look at the back window when she knows what she will see are the rocks calling for them. The car goes down the cliff, flying in the air while they roll down the mountains. Blue sky, the rocks and trees appearing again and again, making your head feel dizzy, giving you the biggest headache. The most beautiful view a moment ago and now a horror scene appeared before her eyes while she was being tossed around in the car until it eventually stopped. By some miracle, they still landed on all four wheels, but it didn't take long before the other car caught up with them. Rolling down the cliff was the other car as Bine looked through the window. The little hope she had was completely gone when she thought the falling was over, but it turned out that it had only just begun. She screams as the biggest nightmare comes crashing down right at her. It's like a golf stick that kicks the ball in a smooth swing down the hill. And just like that, that easy goes the car down the hill again. Rolling forever, hitting every rock, falling from tree to tree until it finally lands on steady ground. Dust swelling around in a strong wind with branches and leaves getting sucked inside. As the wind faded, the car remained on its roof in the grass.
After a while, Bine finally opened her eyes, hanging down from the seat while the seatbelt held her up. Where am I and what happened? Slowly, the vision in her eyes has sharpened, and she can finally see a little more. It's still blurry, and smoke was covering the car. The car alone looked like a mess, and I dough that it looked even better from the outside. Broken windows, glass everywhere, books on the ceiling, and even a small suitcase that flew from the trunk to the back seat. As Bine looked around, she looked at the driver's seat where Ole was sitting, barely hanging on his seat.
"Ole, Ole?" She screamed at him in a quiet voice, like her voice didn't want to come out. She loosened her seatbelt and fell on the ceiling of the car while she crawled to the driver's seat. Ole was hanging upside down dripping in blood. The thick branches of the trees were stuck in the car and piercing through his body, dripping blood everywhere.
Meanwhile, far away in a big mansion in the snowy mountains. Chaos in the whole house when a woman with black hair and golden eyes came running through the hallway with a cell phone in her hand. Bursting through the heavy wooden double doors of the living room where a whole family was sitting on red leather couches.
"My Lady. I got a call; it seems that there was an accident." Yelled the woman as she came running inside the room like there was some kind of wild dog behind her. A man and a woman stood up from the couch, running toward her. Both of them had white hair and ocean-blue eyes. The man was dressed in a white shirt with light brown pants while the woman was wearing a silk, long, red gown with golden laces on the bottom of the dress. Not wanting to believe the words she heard, the woman started to scream. "No, not my baby!" The woman bursts out into tears; a man's arms are wrapped around her for comfort. Crying on her husband's shoulder as the tears fall. Tears brimmed his eyes when he looked up at the woman with black hair. "Were there any survivors?" The man asked.
"I don't know yet. The car fell off the mountains, fire is spreading fast."
"Was my daughter in the car?"
"I don't know."
Anger and sadness were spreading across his face when he started yelling at her. "Then find out!" There was nothing he could do to change this situation, too many miles apart. A very long flight for them to make it there in time. If they weren't already too late. While the woman with black hair started to make impossible phone calls, trying to find more information.
Meanwhile, at the car accident. Bine kept on shaking Ole's head but he just wouldn't move. It's clear that he was dead and that Bine was left all alone in a burning car. Tears rolled down her cheeks but even those tears wouldn't save her. The only one who could save her was herself and she needed to be fast if she wanted to make it out alive. Bine tried to climb out of the car through the creaked window in between the glass pieces that were scattered all over the ground. Her hands and knees were starting to bleed from the sharp pieces of glass that were on the path to escape the burning car. She managed to get out of the car, with her clothes ripped apart. It was only then that she realized that it was already evening. How long was I even out? And more importantly, she just made it out in time when she realized that the front of the car was on fire.
"Ole," Bine whispered in a soft trembling voice. But the words weren't even fully out of her mouth when the car exploded right before her eyes. Her body flies in the air from the force of the explosion, landing hard against the bark of a nearby tree. The bark cracked around her body as her body fell to the ground. She looked up and got back on her feet, taking a few steps away from the car while she limped on her feet. Tears rolled down her cheeks when her eyes could only watch Ole's body getting devoured by the flames. Bine could feel the warmth from the flames burning on her skin while her knees slowly got to the ground.
"Ole!" Bine started screaming, screaming at a dead man who would never answer her. She doesn't even know why she was even trying. But there was nothing she could do. Or she would help a dead man out of the car and die as well. The hot flames were only getting hotter and bigger when all she could do was watch the car burn, the flames and the smoke multiplying by the second. The clear blue sky she saw before was completely gone, it was gray and intoxicating instead. Bine started coughing heavily when a big flame burst out towards her. She needed to get out of there and fast! The flames touched her arms when she was trying to hide behind them. Her body fell to the ground while she tried to crawl further, screaming in pain. She stood up on her feet and tried to run away from the flames that were spreading to the trees. But the flames were faster than her, going from three to three while she was only stumbling and falling again and again, dragging her feet further through the dirt and grass. Falling over the smallest branches and stones, rolling over the ground. Bine's face was covered in dirt and blood, and she was pretty sure she lost a shoe somewhere in one of those falls. But even so, she could never stop moving and somehow this small body of hers has been able to walk for what feels like forever. Not sure where she was going or what she was looking for, if even the flames were still following her. Too scared to look, too scared to stop. Walking past the trees, away from the warm flames. The mountains, the trees, everything in these woods could disappear and the warm weather was not helping. She was so tired and wounded badly, that blood was dripping down her forehead, arms, and stomach. Her arms were covered in burns from the flames. Her whole body wanted to pass out when finally, she was getting closer to a small village. Bine could hear the voices in the distance, and see the lights from the lanterns. It was giving her a little hope and she tried to take another step further, but her body gave up and Bine fell unconscious on the ground. The voice came closer in between the fog that was surrounding her. A little boy, stroking his hand through the bloody white hairs that lighted up in the night sky. Looking at the little creature with wonder in his deep brown eyes. As he looked up, in between the trees to find perhaps the parents of this little one. But there was nothing he could see in the distance with this thick layer of fog surrounding him. Only the noises of the wind blew through his black hair. The little boy picked up the little creature in his arms. A strange-looking creature that almost looked like a puppy. A puppy that was completely covered in blood and dust, who looked like it had been through hell. The boy took the small creature to his house which wasn't that far away from the woods. At the end of the woods was a small stone path that led to the village. His house was at the beginning with the same stone path leading to his house. It was a modern house in a small village with only cute little old houses next to it. The old houses had big bricks in brown, grey stones with bright red roof tiles. But his house doesn't look like the rest of the small houses in the street. His house was bigger than the rest of the houses, modern with black steel windows and a steel front door, his house just stood out from all the rest. He opened the front door of his house when a girl appeared in front of him as he entered the hallway.
"I'm home," said the boy to the girl with her arms crossed over her chest. Her dark eyebrows lifted at the side of him while her long dark brown hair was sliding over her shoulder.
"What is that?" Asked the girl as she looked at the little being with horror in her eyes.
"A puppy."
"That's one strange dog. Where did you find it?"
"In the woods." Answered the boy with a smile on his face but the girl kept on staring at the creature he was holding. "And you bring it home?"
"Yes, it's wounded, I can't just leave it there.
"The way it is looking, I think it's already death. I'm telling Maman." With her evil French accent, she ran off looking for her mother while the little boy looked down at the small puppy. "Don't worry, everything is going to be okay." Whispered the boy while he walked into the living room but suddenly found his mother in front of him. "What is Eléonore saying about a dog?" The voice of his mother was making the boy look up when he only set one foot inside the living room. She was an exact copy of the girl with light curling hair, only an older version. The same dark brown hair slowly swung against her shoulder when she came to stand in front of the boy.
"Léon stole a dog," Eléonore yelled.
"I didn't steal it, I found it!"
His mother looked down at him and the puppy. Even she knew that there was something strange with the puppy her son was holding. But those deep dark sad eyes of his begged his mother to keep it. And the puppy alone didn't look so good, but strange oh so strange. She stared at her son with worried eyes and said, "LĂ©on, are you sure that it's still alive, there is blood everywhere?"
LĂ©on went with his hands through the bloody fur to find wounds, to find a heartbeat. Even though the fur was covered in blood, there were no open wounds on the skin.
Only blood stains that were dripping down on the brown wooden floors. He gave a big smile and with a lot of confidence he said, "I know it's still alive, I can feel it and there are no wounds."
"But it still smells so bad, maybe it rolled into something."
But LĂ©on was only waiting for one answer and without a second thought he asked her, "So, can I keep It?" She smiles at him. "If you take very good care of it, if it's still alive of course."
"Yes!" LĂ©on yelled in excitement.
"What are you even going to name it?" Eléonore asked.
"Nevill."
Eléonore started laughing and immediately answered him, "It's a girl, you idiot." Léon took a closer look at the puppy and then he realized that he didn't even check for its gender. He took a closer look when it became very clear to him. He smiled at his sister and said, "What do you think about Nina, do you like that?"
"Not bad," Eléonore said when she walked back to the living room. She gazed back at Léon before she completely disappeared. "For a living thing." She Whispered and vanished, crashing back on the couch. Watching the television in the background with the news over two crashing cars in the mountains but still no sign of where those two cars may be. Léon walked up the stairs and headed straight to his bedroom. He opened the bedroom door and opened a second door on his right where his bathroom was. He laid the puppy into the bathtub and let the water pour over the fur with the shower head he was holding in one hand. His other hand was holding the puppy while he had gotten wet as well from all the water that was splashing around. The bathtub was slowly getting filled with blood from washing the fur. Turning the water completely red, making the bath look like a complete mess or a horror zone. After rubbing and scrubbing, snow-white white fur became visible from underneath the blood. When he was finally done, he dried the puppy and took her with him into the bed. A small children's bed with dark blue covers when he slowly crawled underneath the sheets. Warm and completely wet in the bed while he held the puppy tightly against him, falling into a deep sleep. After all, it has been a long day, an even longer day for that strange living being. The day turns into night, the silence going through the whole village as the stars shine the light on the dark streets. The wind blew the tree branches against the window of the house, the wind singing in the air while the leaves were dancing around in the light of the full moon.
Bine opened her eyes the next morning, the sun burning her eyes from the bright light that was shining through the window. As Bine looked around the room, she looked at the light that was coming from the tall windows that led to a balcony. Wooden floors in a light brown color with black doors. The walls were white with shelves and closets filled with books. Where am I, what is this place, how did I even get here? While her eyes scanned this strange place, they traveled to the bed where a little boy was sleeping next to her. Who the hell is that?! Her heart was suddenly pounding louder, and her vision sharpened. Every little detail from his hair to the small sweat droplets that were rolling down his forehead. His scent was diving into her nostrils, smelling like a freshly baked chicken. A wave of instinct, a red glimpse came across her eyes. And she didn't even know why, probably because she was terrified of waking up in a place she didn't even know. She quickly crawled out of the bed to find a place to escape and her eyes landed on the black door. But it's no use, she's too small to reach the door knob. Instead, she was making a lot of noise, scratching the door with her claws and it didn't take long before the little boy woke up and was out of bed, picked her up from the floor, and whispered in her ear, "Bonjour Nina, do you need to go to the restroom?" LĂ©on said while his fingers were going through her fur. Bine looked up at him, who was speaking to her in a language she didn't understand. She had no idea what he was saying, what language was that even? What do you want from me, who are you? She started howling in a soft voice, that sounded cute but wasn't meant to sound that way. When in reality, she was screaming.
"First we need to buy you a collar." He opened the door and carried her down the stairs. Let me go! Bine was howling and struggling in his arms to get free but in response, he patted her behind her ears. Making her tail wag around and started to snort. That feels good - wait, stop doing that! Her back paws started to move up and down while he was rubbing her ear. Or maybe just for a little. Not much later after breakfast, Bine was already in a pet store with LĂ©on, buying a dog collar for her. A man approaches them in the store, giving LĂ©on a big friendly smile.
"Bonjour LĂ©on, what brings you to my store"? The man asked.
Raymond Gabriello was the owner of this store and a longtime friend of the Montand family. He was there when Léon and Eléonore were born and his son Marin was well-known in the family, he was Léon's best friend. Mr. Gabriello came to stand behind the counter dressed in green pants with a white shirt and dark brown leather suspenders, pulling his light brown hair to the side so it wasn't lying in front of his face. His gentle smile and dark brown eyes, looking down at Léon.
"I got a puppy; her name is Nina." LĂ©on held the little puppy up in the air, showing her to Mr. Gabriello. LĂ©on was holding her like in The Lion King, high up in the air.
"You're buying a collar for her?"
"Yes, and I want her name on the medallion."
LĂ©on followed Mr. Gabriello to the front desk where all kinds of medallions you can think of were being shown behind a glass frame. One in particular caught his attention, a round silver medallion.
"Which one would you like?" Mr. Gabriello asked.
LĂ©on pointed at the silver medallion with his finger and yelled in excitement, "I want the round silver one." Mr. Gabriello opened the glass with a small key, taking out the silver medallion, and showing it once more to LĂ©on. The medallion had a moon on the background with a tree in front, at the bottom of the medallion were three little flowers with light blue diamonds. "Good choice, wait a second for me then I'm going to write her name on the metal." Mr. Gabriello took the medallion with him to the back of the store so he could engrave the name on the back of the medallion. Even if the back door was closed, Bine could still hear the noises of the machine. Her ears were picking up the painful sounds of scratching metal that sounded to her that Mr. Gabriello was destroying that medallion. Bine had no idea what was going on in there or what she was doing here, all she knew was that she wanted to go home. To where that may even be, where the hell did she come from? Not much later, Mr. Gabriello was back with the medallion and attached it to the blue-collar LĂ©on had chosen. And surprisingly, the metal looked fine compared to all the noise Bine heard before. She thought that there wouldn't be anything left of it. But it looked even better than before. LĂ©on gave her the collar and attached it around her fluffy neck while he smiled at her, "Here you go Nina." Who is Nina? She didn't understand what was happening and why was he giving her a collar. LĂ©on paid for the collar and the medallion and patted the soft fur behind Bine's ears.
He left the store with the blue collar and medallion shouting at Mr. Gabriello, "Merci Mr. Gabriello, and say hi to Marin for me."
Officially making Bine a pet as he walked home with Bine trapped in her new life.
Shortly after, Bine came to understand that the little boy was called Léon and his sister Eléonore. The day slowly turned into night. While everyone was sleeping peacefully, Bine heard howling noises coming from outside deep in the woods. Her ears jumped up and she started back at the window. The howling sounded so familiar, but she didn't know from where. Bine jumped out of bed, walked to the window, and set down in front of the balcony door. The fog climbed over the top of the trees as the raindrops fell on the stones of the balcony. The howling sounded so sad and finally something that she could understand. But why, why did she feel so empty all of a sudden? Like something was missing, was she forgetting something that she should know? It felt so right to be with Léon and still, there was something there. She needed to go; she needed to know. Bine was scratching the glass with her paw as Léon got out of bed. "Nina, what are you doing?" Bine kept on howling in symphony while the noises called for her.
"I hear them too Nina, that are wolves," LĂ©on said and sat down next to her on the floor and took Bine on his lap, looking out the window with her. His lap was so small and comfortable, she could easily fall asleep with him but in this situation, it was hard to block the howling noises that were calling for her. And she wanted to go down there. Maybe they had the answers she was looking for.
"If a wolf saw you, they would eat you. Don't worry Nina, I'm not going to let them hurt you, you're safe with me."
Actually, they won't eat her, more like adopt her since they are the same species as her, and they are more likely going to eat LĂ©on because he was a weak small human. Right now, she was an animal and the same as them. But to them, LĂ©on was still a human and a threat to their kind. Even though LĂ©on was just a small child they would probably eat him. But for Bine, could they help her? Was she just a normal wolf or was she something really weird and didn't even belong with them? Then what kind of weird creature was she exactly? Bine gazed at herself in the reflection of the window, seeing LĂ©on next to her.
Meanwhile, in the woods. The rain extinguished the flames while more steam was coming up around in the woods. The fog was making it harder to make out what exactly was in front of you, a tree or a car. The smell of burned wood, burned skin, and burned metal. But only a little further was a woman and a man who were screaming their lungs out, looking around in between the trees. Panicked and in tears, desperate to find something very precious to them that was lost.
"Where is she?" The woman asked with snow-white hair, who was wearing a long red gown. Strong arms were wrapped around her when her husband pulled her closer to him for a hug. His strong hiking boots left footprints behind in the dirt as his white hair blew around in the warm summer air.
"I don't smell her and I don't hear her either, the rain has made it hard to find her," the man whispered in the woman's ears. "Call for her again," the woman yelled desperately. The man puts his hands around his mouth again, he starts howling again and again. But there was no response, only the wind that made the branches of the trees wave around in the air. Footsteps of small creatures like rabbits and squirrels. While they only stood a few meters away from the burned-down car. A wreck in the pick, black, burned grass covered in ashes, for what you could still call grass. The car was completely burned to the ground, with no windows remaining. Heat and pressure made the glass creak into a million pieces, scattered across the grass, and all that was remaining flew around with the explosion. Yet so close and still so far away from the wreck, too busy looking for their little daughter that they didn't even see the wreck that was lying there in the grass, only a few meters away from them in the fog. He looked at his wife with sad eyes, he had to tell her. No matter how much his heart was breaking, no matter how much her heart was going to break. He finally opened his mouth and spook out the words he couldn't believe himself, "Nothing she's gone."
"That can't be."
"I'm sorry honey but she's not here." The screams seem to be louder and louder, "No, no!" As disbelief came upon her. She fell through her knees to the ground. Was it true, were they never going to find their daughter? Was all hope lost, was this trip all for nothing, was this the end? Were they never going to find her, was she dead or still somewhere out there? I don't think you want to know the truth, or maybe not. Hope for something that wasn't there, someone that didn't exist anymore. Or their daughter was out there but in what kind of state was she in? She could be half dead or she could be dying right now from very deep wounds or even been eaten by even bigger animals. Maybe even lost in the woods forever and starving to death. All questions they might never know the answers to.
"I'm sure that she made it out, she is a smart girl," the man said lifting her face to make her look him in the eyes. "I will never rest until I find her, I promise you that."
But will he even ever find her or will he be searching his whole life and never be able to find her? Just like Bine will never know the answers to her questions. The howling became louder and sadder by the minute. Bine's ears started to hurt and tears suddenly fell from her eyes, wetting her fur. Why does she feel so sad? If there was just someone who could explain this to her. What was happening right now? LĂ©on was stroking Bine's fur with his small gentle hands to calm her down and whispered to her, "It sounds so sad. Maybe they lost their baby?"
After a while, Bine got used to Léon, and became best friends. But Bine was wondering. Was she his pet before or did it suddenly happen? Léon and Eléonore fight sometimes and Léon even seems to cry at times too. Bine was weak to his tears, it made her not want to leave and he was a very nice boy. Always happy to see her and if he hugged her, he could kill her from squeezing too hard. Sometimes he was gone for almost a whole day, on those days Bine mostly spent them sleeping, finding herself lost in weird dreams. His mother was gone a lot too and the house felt lonely, even when all three of them were home, there was just something missing.
Days turned into months and months turned into a year. It was a warm summer with a beautiful night sky, the stars were shining bright around the full moon. The glass door to the balcony was open to let the cool air inside. Bine suddenly stood up in the bed and walked towards the glass door, her fur lighting up like diamonds from the stares reflecting on her pure white hair. It almost looked like gemstones with longer hairs in between them, that lighted up the room.
"Nina, where are you going?" LĂ©on asked.
Bine didn't turn around nor did she look back. Her mind was empty and she didn't seem to hear him. His words weren't coming through, she wasn't picking up his voice. Only focused on the bright light in the sky, it was like the moon was calling for her. This happened so many times before, it was never like this. It wasn't the first time that saw the moon, but this time it was different somehow. Not like she loved to look at the moon, more like it was telling her something, something she didn't understand. Making her feel different, making her act different. It was terrifying, but who would ever be terrified of such a small dog?
"Wow, what a beautiful moon," LĂ©on said with the stars reflecting in his eyes. He was looking at the moon as well when he got out of bed and walked towards the glass door to sit down beside her. His small hand goes through the fur on her back as a shiver goes down her spine. The feeling of his hand on her fur felt like he was pushing on a button or that she didn't recognize him anymore. Bine started to growl at him as soon as his fingers touched her fur. She wasn't herself anymore and she couldn't control herself right now. While she was looking at LĂ©on with flaming red eyes, sharp fangs, and long nails. Her hair was standing on its end, glowing with light, lighting up the room so he couldn't see her clearly. See the monster that she'd become. Ready to attack or kill whatever was in front of her and right now LĂ©on was right there, right before her eyes. A small dumb child who didn't understand what was happening, and that he should react in a completely different way if he still wanted to live. LĂ©on might be a nice pray, easy and weak or maybe he was something else? Her instincts were going crazy, trying to figure out what to do.
"Nina?" He asked while he took a step back and fell on the floor with his hands trembling next to him. Bine looked him in the eyes, cold-blood eyes that almost looked like the moon. A moon in pain and sorrow, turning red. Crying out to its people, warning them, cursing them. Or was it just cursing Bine, warning the people of her? And still the moon was silver like normal with a cloud floating by. It was just Bine that had changed; it was the moon that brought out her real nature. Calling her again and again, screaming in her head. She growls louder, her nails became even longer and her small body started to grow as well. The pain, the blood in her veins, it hurts. Her body started shaking, her nails digging deep into the wooden floors. Bine looked back at the moon and in that second, she jumped down the balcony onto the street.
"Nina, wait!"
She didn't listen to a word he was saying and kept on running, it was like the moon possessed her while she slowly disappeared into the woods, out of site. LĂ©on kept on screaming, "Nina!" But it was no use, soon she was gone and out of his life for good. But where would she go and what would she do? And most of all, what the hell was she going to do or what was she going to do in the woods? Turning the woods into an unsafe zone for animals and humans that may walk into her claws? Or perhaps to get away from him before something bad may have happened. LĂ©on must also be terrified of her, even though she was afraid of herself. Adrenalin rushed through her body, dirt flying around when her paws landed on the ground. The small puppy was gone, it changed into a strong beast. A beast that destroys everything that lands on its path. The vision had changed, all she could see was blood. Blood on the ground, on her paws and so many more things she couldn't even explain, didn't understand. All she knew was that she was ready, ready to take that blood while her body landed upon a deer and ended it. Her sharp teeth dug into the skin of the deer and ripped out the flesh so fast that it flew in the air. Blood was dripping down her white fur while she started to howl in the moonlight. Are you satisfied with me, is this what you wanted, is this what I am? A monster of destruction.
