Everything began in year two thousand and ten, with a man who was wandering the streets of Catanzaro, an italian city. He was about one meter and eighty centimeters tall, had green wavy mullet hair and two round eyes with two pupils of different colors: the one in the right eye was black while the one in the left eye was green, just like his hair. His face was oval, his little nose was straight, his skin was pale and smooth, his lips were shelf and pinkish, his cheeks were empty as he was quite slim and his jawline was well-definied. He was robust and adorned a rigid posture. His hands were full of scratchs with short nails while his arms and legs were long and robust. He wore a black scientist cotton coat, a white leather shirt underneath, a green wool tie, black denim jeans, and white and green gam sneakers.
Yet nobody ever managed to explain who he was and why he had that weird look. The only thing that was known about him was that he came out from nothingness, like a ghost in research of revenge. Many started to relate him to demons or any possible malignant entity known to man until now.
He entered the bar, walking rigidly and calmly, pushing doors of pine door with iron handles tinted with yellow and glass resembling windows on their upper side. The bar was all crafted from pine wood, including the many tables and chairs spread across all its area, and the longer barman table, that was put atthe bottom of the room. There were many fridges full of alcohol behind the barman's table, and five long stools in front of it.
"Oh? Hello there, sir Bob!" the barman greeted joyfully. "The barman was around one metre and eighty centimetres tall. He was slim and robust. He had an oval face, a fair, smooth skin, green hair with a korean mullet with a semi-leaf cut, red round eyes, a curved nose, a little mouth with small and pinkish lips, robust cheeks and a defined jawline. He had a rigid posture. His limbs and hands were average-sized while his nails were cut with precise care. His chest was flat, his waist definied and his hips straight. He wore brown, formal leather shoes, and cotton clothes: black, straight pants, a bowtie, a white shirt with braces and a denim black jacket."
"Do you take the usual?" he asked with a wink.
"Double this time…" Bob replied with a look lost in his thoughts and worry.
"Something is wrong? Have you been fired from your new job?" the barman asked while he prepared two glasses of Vodka with mastered and pre-thought movements.
"Uh? No… no… I was just thinking about something…" Bob answered before sitting on a chair near the table. The barman gave him the two Vodkas.
"Did they at least tell you what it is about?" the barman asked.
"Actually no, they didn't inform me, nor did I do research. I don't even have a phone," Bob answered while drinking his first Vodka.
"Tell me the name of the agency," the barman replied.
"Oh, sure, it is named― mmmh… I don't know," Bob said as he drank the second Vodka.
"Oh come on! How did you get this job in the first place?" the barman asked with a surprised look.
"Good question, I don't have an answer," Bob answered.
"Argh… well, now that I think about it, you never told me your full name," the barman said.
"It's Dr. Bob Omega," Bob replied.
"Doctor?" asked the barman.
"No, Dark Rain," Bob answered as he got up.
"Welp, I gotta go, see you around!" Bob greeted the barman and then went away. He went towards a hidden lab. The air was dark and negative, causing Bob to be very uncomfortable as he knew nothing about this stupid and arcane place. He entered the lab, it was really dark but footsteps could be heard. Probably some scientists who were making some experiments with the lights off. He didn't forge questions in his mind and began to walk straight, hoping to not hit anything or anyone.
Where the fuck is the boss' office... Bob asked himself while walking in the dark.
"Are you searching the boss office?" a scientist asked.
"Yes… Could you tell me where it is?" Bob asked the scientist who guided him towards the boss office.
"Now you just need to enter, see you around," the scientist said before going away.
"A thousand thanks!" Bob thanked before then entering the office. The room was dark, just like the rest of the lab. There only was one figure who could be seen... well, only its black eyes could be seen.
"You are Ron Ozeta?" the figure asked.
"Uh… it's Bob Omega…" Bob answered.
"Welp, nice to meet you Ran Ozeta, I am the CEO of this place," the figure replied and then turned on a reflector by simply snapping his fingers. A woman appeared below the reflector. She was around one metre amd seventy centimetres tall. She had an oval head with a fair and soft skin; her cheeks were soft and adorable. Her nose was little and cut; she had round, red eyes and white eyebrows; her hair were white and she arbored a side swept bangs haircut; her lips had a red labellum and were little and adorable; her jawline was definied and her mouth was tiny and cute. She stood decently, adorning huge breasts and a slim body; her hands were small but had long, red nails. She wore a white, leather scientist coat and shirt; she also wore grey jeans, black, "sexy", thick and tight socks, and black high heels.
"I introduce to you… my daughter, Rose! She will be your guide for the beginning of your work there," the CEO explained.
"Oh… thank you…" Bob thanked. Rose would then walk towards him with grace and cuteness, the reflector following her, before she offered her hand which Bob catched for a handshake.
"Will be a pleasure to work with you!" Rose shouted joyfully.
"Uh… the pleasure is mine," Bob replied. Rose started to walk towards the exit door.
"Let's start the tour!" Rose shouted before exiting the room with Bob who followed her into the laboratory whose lights had turned on. They stopped in front of a room full of children who were playing. The room looked like a mix between a playground and a research lab: there were huge plastic play slides and toy-houses, unobtrustive, tiny iron cameras, and iron computers of average size. Bob was disturbed; he really couldn't understand the meaning of all this.
"You might be wondering what those kids are doing here, right?" Rose asked with a genuine smile.
"Well… yeah," Bob answered.
"Those children have got cancer or similar illnesses… we are trying to find the perfect cure for them but since then… no success," Rose explained.
"Oh, I see…" Bob replied.
I have to move on... thought Rose while she grabbed a special, genetically modified black rose which was in one of the pockets of her coat, and then pointed the sharp part of it towards Bob's back. At the beginning, she hesitated, but after two seconds, she stabbed it, searching the vertebral column to wound it with the sharper-than-diamond spike. Bob remained silent. He felt all the blood slide down his back, but his vertebral column was still complete and intact; it didn't even have a scratch.
"W―what?! How is it possible?!" Rose exclaimed in confusion and panic while she continued stabbing Bob.
"What do you think you're doing, Rose?" Bob asked while he looked at Rose straight in her eyes. Rose walked backward until the wall hindered her.
"W―wait! I can explain!" Rose panicked in pure fear while Bob walked towards her.
"Then do it," Bob replied with a furious look but, sadly, instead of an answer, Rose threw the black rose towards Bob's face, who simply blocked it with his hand. The black rose stayed blocked on the hand, stabbing it without yet having the opportunity to break its bones.
"HOW IS IT POSSIBLE THAT YOUR BONES ARE SO RESISTANT?!" Rose asked, shocked by the resistance of Bob's bones. He instead looked at her with sadness.
"I wonder why you are doing all of this…" he asked while he always went closer and closer to Rose before stopping when he was only a few centimetres before her. Rose lost her balance from Bob's simple stare and fell on the floor.
"STAY AWAY FROM ME!" Rose shouted while she could smell death getting closer to her at each second that passed by; it was as if Bob was envelopped by an aura of death and destruction.
"Please don't kill me…" Rose begged in pure terror while Bob stretched his hand towards Rose's forehead.
"W-wait… p-please!" Rose shouted as if death was about to touch her. Yet, when Bob touched her forehead, nothing happened.
W-what? Rose asked herself while trembling with fear.
"Listen… you don't look like a bad girl…" said Bob before crouching down in front of Rose.
"I know nothing about you, about those kids, about the boss or the other scientists, but… I would like to know more about you…" he added before hugging Rose, the warmth of their bodies overwhelming each other while the death aura, which Rose was perceiving, turned into a feeling of affection, perhaps even the only one she ever felt, which could be guessed by her cries.
"What's wrong with you now?" Bob asked, worried.
"Bob… promise me something…" Rose said.
"What?" Bob replied.
"If I tell you the secrets of this place… make sure nobody discovers them except you," Rose explained.
"Uh… sure… I promise!" Bob promised.
"Good! Then let's start…
We are the Saviors Corporation. We are a group of researchers who try their best to find cures for cancer or similar illnesses. My father, the CEO of this place, got the 'brilliant' idea to stop with that 'bullshit' and to start making experiments on our patients, giving them false hopes.
Afterwards, we discovered the existence of powers in each of our patients. Sadly, we don't know how to awaken them yet, and we created a plan for when we will… when we will kill the patient who will give us success. This process will also be used on the employees, the CEO being the first, I the second and then whoever will have the courage to try it.
After all of this, we will prove the Multiverse Theory and take control of it forever," Rose explained while Bob looked at her surprised.
"It's a folly," Bob said. Although he didn't mean it by himself, his instinct was shouting it in his insides, and hence he spoke.
"I know… I don't want to do it… but if I don't, he will kill me…" Rose replied while swinging on herself.
"Listen… it isn't a true folly, the problem is that you mortals― wait what I'm saying... is that we, mortals, cannot do such things…" Bob explained as he remained perplexed from the words he expressed himself. Rose stayed silent until an alarm began to play; the red lights turned off and on continuously.
"Sorry Bob…" Rose said.
"Uh… why?" Bob asked, confused.
"You are about to see what happens to those who don't die during our experiments…" Rose answered before standing up, with Bob following her before looking towards a door at the end of a corridor: a monstrous, three metres tall man stood there; his body was slimmer than a skeleton, his bald face was oval and arbored fully-white skin, his round eyes were red and crying blood, his nose and lips were ripped off, showing bloody gums, with his mouth being bigger than a door, and his cheeks were empty; his posture was crooked, his feet and hands were bigger than his mouth and adorned one-metre-long claws, his legs measured around one metre and half and his rib cage pierced out of his slim chest; his movements showcased outburts of anger, torment and suffering and he was killing people.
"ATTENTION, ATTENTION! EXPERIMENT SIX MILLION SIX HUNDRED FIFTY-TWO THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED TWENTY-NINE IS GONE!" a speaker warned. Everyone panicked and the scientists ran away while locking the children and the patients in their special rooms.
"We don't save them?" Bob asked.
"They will die anyway," Rose answered, taking Bob's hand; she wished to at least save him, the only person she trusted as for now. Towards him, she didn't feel normal affection... no, it was something more important, it was love.
"Hurry up, let's go away!" she added before running with Bob towards the exit. However, as they were one centimetre away from the door, Bob instinctively pushed Rose outside the lab. The door then closed and he remained locked inside. The CEO appeared behind him.
"Brave from you to remain here," the CEO said while holding a black knife.
"You're insane… Let's end this quickly!" Bob replied and then looked straight in the CEO's eyes, the only visible part of his body.
"I wouldn't say insane… It's just that, to achieve my goals, I need to be cruel and beyond human logic," the CEO said with a serious look. His shadow suddenly stretched and enlarged itself while the lights were being darkened as the deep, dark and starless night fell, comparable to a void darker than anything.
"I'm sorry Zon, but now you are in my Kingdom of Shadows!" he added while a white smile formed on his face.
"It is Bo―" Bob replied before getting stopped by a dark tentacle which pierced his neck. Bob screamed in pain and asthma due to the breath problems the tentacle was giving him.
"What's wrong? Not acting cool with your weirdly indestructible bones anymore?" the CEO asked with a grin.
"Eh?! COME ON! SHOW ME YOUR REAL LOOK, GOD OF DEATH!" the CEO shouted before stabbing Bob in the heart, yet he gave no hint of dying.
"What are you talking about..?" Bob asked before getting punched on the jaw.
"COME ON! ATTACK ME!" the CEO shouted. Suddenly, Bob saw everything in slow motion.
I have a strong sensation of déja-vu… Bob thought as he began to see infinite strings of different colors, but he didn't manage to touch one and passed away.
After some hours, he woke up, hung up, yet not dead nor was he dying. The CEO was in front of him, asking many questions to himself about Bob's incredible resistance against everything.
"What do you want from me..?" Bob asked.
"You see… I saw that Rose feels attraction towards you and so I wondered… wouldn't it be nice to have a grandchild to use for my experiments?" the CEO explained as a reflector suddenly turned on and a completely naked and tied up Rose, who was sitting on a chair, appeared.
"You… you are insane…" Bob replied with worry. The CEO gave a karate circular kick to Rose's face as she fell from the chair.
"Wake up, bitch," the CEO said before picking her up by the hair.
"I was awake already…" Rose replied while she resisted the need to scream of pain.
"Shut up. Try not to make too many noises while you rape this asshole," the CEO said to Bob as he threw Rose towards him.
"Rose… A―are you fine?!" Bob panicked while he tried to break the rope around his neck, which was getting tighter each time he tried.
"SHIT!" Bob screamed of pain while the CEO simply looked at them.
"I am out. If I come back and see you didn't fuck… I'll kill you both," the CEO threatened before freeing Rose and going away.
"R―Rose…" Bob said, worried.
"I'm sorry Bob… but I don't want to die…" Rose replied with sadness in her voice while she began to remove Bob's jacket.
"Wait!" Bob shouted. Rose hugged him and cried.
"Don't hate me please…" Rose begged before cutting off the rope which kept Bob hung up, freeing him from its grip.
"I know that this will be a rape but… could you imagine it isn't..?" Rose asked with tears in her eyes. Bob sighed and then hugged Rose.
"Only if you promise to marry me… if I have to get a child, I want to be married," Bob answered, their bodies heating each other, giving a sensation of comfort and love. Bob wasn't really interested, but he didn't want a son before mariage.
"I… I promise!" Rose promised. Without hesitation, the two immersed into a passionate kiss. At this point, they didn't care anymore if they were forced to procreate; it was all genuine now, it was all perfect.
"I love you…" Bob said while Rose removed his last clothes. Now their naked bodies were in front of each other. Rose decided to dominate and laid Bob down on the floor while she sat on his rib cage.
"Are you ready?" Rose asked while bitting her lip. She stared at him with lustful eyes.
"Always ready for you~" Bob said in a flirty way while Rose placed her clitoris right on the tip of Bob's dick.
"Oh my God… it's a fantastic feeling… and I didn't even put it inside~" Rose said with joy in her voice. Without any further delay, Rose managed to insert Bob's dick onto herself. Rose began to moan softly while she felt Bob's dick entering in her most vulnerable parts. From Rose's uterus, some blood came out.
"Happy to be your first time…" Bob said before laying Rose on himself. The two hugged each other and Bob thrusted his dick into Rose, who moaned louder and louder.
"I'd like this to last forever!" Rose shouted in pure joy while she rode faster and more violently.
"Wow… You are enjoying it, hehe~" Bob replied before tightening the grip of their hug.
"Are you about to reach the limit?" Rose asked with emotion, her eyes shining from the wish of being filled.
"Y―yes…" Bob replied.
"Let's come together at the same time!" Rose suggested with joy.
"S―sure!" Bob shouted with the same joy. Bob cummed in Rose while she reached the orgasm. She was drooling from the pleasure of being filled by Bob's hot cum. The two stayed hugged even after they finished their new experience.
Some hours later, the CEO came back and saw them having wild sex.
Oh my God… I didn't think she would enjoy it that much, the CEO thought. Even when the two young lovers saw him, they ignored him and continued to procreate.
After a whole day of reproduction, the two stopped, yet continued to hug each other.
"Did you take the pregnancy test?" Bob asked while hugging Rose.
"Not yet… I'm too scared," Rose answered.
"Rose… Listen… I will stay here with you forever!" Bob said, reassuring her. Rose then decided to take the test, which resulted in a positive. Rose and Bob were full of joy.
"What do we call our son?!" Rose asked with joy.
"I don't know… What about… Rayan?" Bob suggested. Rose hugged and kissed him with passion.
"I love it…" Rose replied with a look of affection. Suddenly, Bob was shot in the head. However, his skull was still complete. He looked around and saw the CEO.
"OH COME ON!" the CEO shouted before throwing away the gun he had just used.
"Dad! Why did you do that?!" Rose asked with anger.
"Experiments," the CEO replied, shrugging.
"Oh, I almost forgot!" he added before showing them a paper on which was written the analysis of the patients' powers.
"We found the sixth sense… we found the power!" he announced.
"Now you can awaken powers?!" Rose asked incredulously.
"Exactly, bitch!" the CEO answered joyfully.
"Shit!" Bob shouted. Darkness then covered the CEO's body and merged with his essence, creating tentacles of darkness which grabbed Bob and slammed him everywhere in the room.
"DAD STOP! DON'T KILL MY—future—HUSBAND AND THE FATHER OF MY CHILD!" Rose begged while trying to grab Bob.
"Who cares?! Rayan will die anyway!" the CEO shouted. Suddenly, Bob destroyed every tentacle around him. The aura of death which Rose felt before faling in love could be felt again.
"Try to only touch Rayan and Rose… AND I'LL KILL YOU!" Bob shouted before throwing himself towards the CEO. Bob went for a direct punch which completely obliterated the CEO's right ear. Suddenly, Bob took a syringe from his coat's left pocket, that was left on the ground, and poked the CEO's right eye.
"HEY WAIT, WHAT THE FUCK?!" the CEO shouted only to understand, but too late, what Bob was going to do.
"Goodbye, piece of shit!" Bob said as the syringe absorbed the CEO as he and his darkness were now trapped inside it.
"Wait… But then…" Rose said, shocked.
"Yes. We are free," Bob declared. Rose cried in joy and hugged Bob.
"Kiss me, my love…" Rose said before getting kissed passionately by Bob as he also began to feel love.
"What was your father's name?" Bob asked.
"I have no idea… I know as much if not less than you about him…" Rose answered.
"Then I will call him… Shadow," Bob replied as his aura of death vanished to give more comfort to Rose.
After nine months, the two married each other, and Rayan was born, spreading immense happiness in the young couple. His power was the possibility of manipulating blood. Rose was discovered to be able to manipulate ice, while Bob seemingly had the powers of the Grim Reaper.
After a year, Vincent was also born. He was able to manipulate will-o'-the-wisps while his sister, Tamara, born one year after him, had a really flexible body and was able to use a type of magic called Purple Mastery, which basically allowed her to create weapons with the energy of love and sexual lust, as long as manipulating gravity.
Five years later, a man knocked at the door of the family.
"Will you open the door, Rose?" Bob asked while he washed the dishes.
"Yes, don't worry," Rose answered before opening the cherry wood door, holding the iron handle tinted with yellow. A robut, muscular, one metre and seventy centimetres tall man, who had an oval face with brown skin fade, brown spiky hair, round black eyes and black eyebrows, a crooked nos and a huge mouth with pinkish lips, stood before the door. He had empty cheeks and a definied jawline. He had huge hands with short nails; his chest was huge and imposing. He had a crooked posture. He wore a black, cotton waxed jacket, a red, regular leather shirt, black loose fit jeans, and red and white gam sneakers. He entered the house and pushed Rose away from his sight, who fell.
"What the hell?!" Rose shouted while she got up.
"Hey! Be careful!" Bob said angrily.
"I'm here to exchange your children for money," the man said with a threatening look.
"You are kidding right?" Bob asked before going towards the room of his adored childs and staying still right before it, putting himself in a defensive position in front of it.
"I'm not kidding. I can also sell a child if you want! The only one I managed to take… It was so fun to kill her parents!" replied the man as the little girl he talked about entered. She was around one metre and five centimetres tall and was slim yet robust. She had an oval face, fari skin, red shag hair, round red eyes, a little, adorable nose, and soft cheeks; her jawline was definied and her mouth was little and had pinkish little lips. Her chest was quite flat. Her arms and legs were weak but graceful; her hands were really tiny and had slightly long nails. She had an average posture. She wore a lone, dirty, long and white dress made of human skin. She had injuries everywhere, on her arms, legs, cheeks and even on her neck; these injuries, if they weren't healed quickly, could kill her.
"Holy God!" Rose shouted before hugging the little girl.
"Are you hurt?! Is it his fault?!" she added before pointing at the man. The little girl nodded and cried.
"Filthy piece of shit…" Rose said angrily. She then picked up the little girl and began to reassure her.
"Don't worry… everything will be fine! What's your name?" Rose asked with a friendly look.
"L-Lara…" the little girl answered with a voice not much louder than a whisper. Her voice hid hurt and fear.
"My name is Rose…" Rose replied as she then stared at Bob.
"Are you serious?" Bob asked.
"Just do it!" Rose shouted. Without hesitation, Bob threw himself towards the man and punched him.
"Hey man, calm down!" the man exclaimed before pushing away Bob. The man stood up and picked up a knife from his pocket. It had a black handle and a really sharp, iron blade.
"How did you da―" the man said before getting interrupted by Rose who pierced his heart with an icy stalactite.
"You… you will pay for this…" the man said before falling on the floor, lifeless.
"T―thanks…" Lara thanked before crying on Rose's shoulder from the trauma now stuck in her mind, which was seeing her own parents getting murdered right in front of her eyes.
"Where do we hide the body?" Bob asked.
"Hide it in my father's lab," Rose suggested. Rayan came out from his room and saw the dead man.
"What the…" Rayan said. Rayan was a slim, one metre and seven centimetres tall kid with an oval face with fair and smotth skin. He had red pompadour hair, red round eyes, a little straight nose, a little mouth with thin lips, soft and smooth cheeks and a definied jawline. He had a flat chest and long little hands with short nails. He wore a white leather T-shirt, black, slim gam tapered jeans and red and white athletic sneakers. Lara stared at him and felt butterflies in her stomach; there was, between them, a sort of love at first sight. Lara hid her face on Rose's shoulder to hide her blush.
"Rayan, go back to your room," Bob ordered before picking up the dead body by the hair.
"I will come back for dinner," he added before going outside the house while he dragged the dead body with him.
"Isn't it a bit suspicious to walk around with a dead body?" Rayan asked.
"Nothing is strange at Catanzaro," Rose answered before taking Lara, now asleep, in Rayan, Vincent and Tamara's room. From now on, Rose and Bob would take care of Lara.
Meanwhile, Bob was in front of the lab. He opened the entrance door and saw everything was destroyed.
"I have a bad feeling…" Bob said before throwing away the dead body in a random cell. He then walked towards the CEO's—now known as Shadow—old office. When he entered, he saw a wardrobe on the floor which had fallen on the desk, destroying it. The black chair was upside down dand the darkness was like… vanished. Bob got closer to the desk and saw a diary on it. The diary had a black bookmark and a weird square drawn on it that read "Lost Souls and the Arrival of the Shadows," with a "½" displayed beneath the square but inside a sort of frame drawn on the diary; below the frame, there were little figures drawn on it, all black and appearing to be screaming. There were billions of pages, looking ancient as they adorned a yellow hue and were quite frail. Bob got curious and grabbed it. Suddenly, a black and red energy covered the whole room and warped reality itself.
What the fuck?! Bob wondered before losing his self-balance and falling on the ground. When he got up, he remarked he was in an infinite void.
"What is this thing… It's cold… and scary…" he said as he then heard noises behind himself. Bob looked behind himself and saw mysterious creatures. These creatures were Shadow's experiments, all of different size, colors, and appearance. Between them, there was a figure. It wasn't an experiment, nor an old friend or relative of Bob, yet it looked familiar. The figure was a slim man that was around one metre and eighty centimetres tall. He had an oval head, fair and smooth skin, and red hair that had a unique combing: they covered his neck's back and they were pretty messy. His eyes were round and red while his eyebrows were black. His lips were thin. His cheeks were soft, his nose was little and straight and his jawline was definied. He had a flat chest and small hands with short nails. He wore a black long gam coat that reminded the wool car jacket style; he also wore black artificial ripped jeans, a black belt and black and white sneakers. He stood perfectly before Bob.
"Christopher… is this your name? Why do I know it?" Bob asked.
"You don't need an answer," Christopher answered. Bob made a step backward.
"Do you remember me?" Christopher asked.
"Honestly… No…" Bob answered before looking straight in Christopher's eyes.
"Then… I think I will not feel guilty for this" Christopher replied.
"Eh? What do you mean?!" Bob asked while the panic started to take the upper hand. Christopher snapped his finger and night blue iron curb chains appeared and grabbed Bob by the neck, arms and legs.
"You know Green, your bones are made of a material named Kiojuri, which is the hardest material in the True Nullverse! You will be perfect to use as a puppet until my physical body wakes up from its coma…" Christopher explained. Bob stayed silent; he had never heard of the name "Green" before, yet he knew it was his real name. Without hesitation, Christopher took control of Bob's mind. Despite that, Bob could still act freely as Christopher decided to have some mercy on him.
The void disappeared and Bob found himself alone in the room. He was sweating and was breathless. Furthermore, he felt a weight on his arms, legs and neck. Without hesitation, Bob decided to go away from that nightmare place. When he came back home, he didn't hesitate and hugged Rose tightly.
"What happened?" Rose asked.
"Nothing…" Bob answered with a genuine smile.
"We were waiting for you for dinner. Hurry up, let's sit at the table," Rose said and then prepared the tablecloth―a tablecloth with red cubes all over it, whose edges were yellow. Bob stayed there, staring at Rose and reflecting on what had happened lately…
After dinner, everyone went to sleep. Lara had to sleep in the same bed as Rayan; she was embarrassed, but sleeping near Rayan was really comfortable. Bob instead didn't manage to close an eye, he couldn't sleep; even hugging Rose's soft and warm body didn't work; he could only think of his encounter with Christopher. He wondered where the diary he had found was. Perhaps in Christopher's arms.
Only time would tell.
