Chapter 30 - They Make a Move

Fear and confusion gripped the inhabitants in the demon world after a massive magic circle appeared in the sky. The brilliant blue circle pulsated with otherworldly energy, captivating onlookers worldwide.

Initially stunned, people knelt in awe or stood mesmerized by the circle's presence. As the night passed, they grappled with its implications. Some viewed it as a divine message, an enemy attack, or a sign from the world.

Suddenly, the circle vanished, leaving a sense of unease. Governments worked tirelessly to unravel the mystery behind its appearance and disappearance.

In the kingdom of Nessus, leaders gathered to address their dire situation. After a devastating defeat in the war with the humans, they faced widespread destruction, looting, and loss of life in their territories. The room filled with tension as officials discussed the challenges confronting their country.

Silence enveloped the room until the prime minister broke it. The prime minister stood, his expression grave as he surveyed the anxious faces of the nobles. He cleared his throat, the weight of his words pressing heavily on the room.

"My esteemed colleagues, we stand at a precipice. Our army has suffered a devastating defeat; the front lines have been breached, and the human forces are not merely victorious—they are advancing deeper into our lands. This is not just a military failure but a threat to our existence.

We must confront the truth: our defenses are in disarray, and our people suffer. The destruction and looting are not just statistics; they represent our homes, our families, and our future. We cannot allow despair to take root among our citizens, nor can we afford to let fear paralyze us."

His voice, though steady, carried the urgency of their situation, igniting a flicker of determination in the room.

Agreement murmured around the table as the prime minister continued, outlining the need for a plan to restore order and repel raiders.

The higher-ups debated Strategies, and risks were weighed. The topic of the mysterious magic circle arose.

One official spoke up about a topic that everyone is waiting to hear: "We've reports of a magic circle large enough to cover the sky appearing at night. This could be a plot that the enemy is doing."

The prime minister addressed the nobles: " The appearance of this magic circle cannot be ignored. It captivated our people, but the fear it has instilled is palpable. This could be a plot orchestrated by our enemies to destabilize us further."

He paused, allowing the weight of his words to sink in. "We must investigate its origins and purpose. Was it a diversion, a show of power, or perhaps a precursor to an attack? We cannot allow uncertainty to fester; our people deserve clarity, and our enemies must know we stand united and vigilant."

One noble, a seasoned strategist, spoke up. "I propose we gather our best mages and scholars to analyze the remnants of the magic circle. They may uncover clues about its source and intent. We should also send scouts to monitor any unusual activity in the surrounding areas—any sign that our enemies might be preparing for an assault."

Another noble added, "We must communicate with our allies. If this is indeed a threat, we need their support. A show of strength from our coalition could deter any further aggression."

The prime minister nodded in agreement. "Let us form a council of experts to lead this investigation and report to us with their findings. Time is of the essence; we must act swiftly to reassure our citizens and protect our realm."

With a renewed sense of purpose, the nobles began to discuss specific roles and responsibilities, each determined to uncover the truth behind the enigmatic magic circle and safeguard their kingdom from whatever peril lay ahead.

In the middle of their talks, a knock disrupted their deliberations. "I have a battle report for the higher-ups!" the messenger announced.

"Let him in!" a higher-up instructed the guard, granting entrance to a young demon in leather gear. His grin was inconsistent with the grave setting.

After a brief pause, the demon delivered his report. "The enemy has suffered heavy casualties and is retreating to Dead Forest."

The news stunned the officials. Just as they contemplated their precarious situation, the enemy, on the brink of victory, was now withdrawing.

"How can this be? We haven't launched our decisive attack!" one exclaimed.

"Apologies for the late details. Allow me to elaborate. Under cover of night, the remnants of our army executed a daring raid on the enemy's main base. By creating diversions at smaller outposts, we lured away their forces, leaving their main base vulnerable."

The prime minister's eyes widened as he absorbed the unexpected news. A wave of relief washed over him, quickly replaced by a sense of urgency. "This is remarkable news! Our forces have shown resilience and ingenuity in the face of despair. We must capitalize on this opportunity."

He turned to the nobles, his voice firm. "We cannot let the enemy's retreat go unchallenged. This is our moment to strike while they are vulnerable. We must regroup our remaining forces and prepare for a counteroffensive."

A noble rose, his expression a mix of excitement and determination. "I agree! We must not allow this chance to slip away. If we can push them back now, we could reclaim territory and boost morale among our troops and citizens alike."

Another noble added, "We should also send envoys to our allies, informing them of this turn of events. They may be able to send reinforcements or support us in our next moves."

"With the enemy in disarray, our forces could launch surprise attacks on their retreating troops. We could inflict further damage and disrupt their regrouping efforts." Said another noble.

The prime minister nodded appreciatively to the noble who said that. "Excellent suggestion. We must act swiftly to organize our troops and strategize our next steps. Let's not waste this momentum—our future depends on it!"

As the nobles discussed tactics and formations, a renewed spirit filled the room. The atmosphere shifted from one of dread to one of hope and determination as they prepared to seize the moment and turn the tide of the war in their favor.

However, the enemy's strength surpassed our expectations. During the operation, our soldiers had a hard time holding off the enemy at each of the outposts we stole. Even the volunteer's medical unit was wiped out. Just when it seemed our plan was doomed, something unexpected occurred." The messenger continued.

The higher-ups gazed intently at the messenger, their expressions grave. "Suddenly, a pillar of light shot into the sky, forming a colossal magic circle, followed by another pillar of light at its origin."

The higher-ups were astonished. They knew the creator of the magic circle must possess immense power, but they never expected it to have come from their lands.

"Soon after, an enigmatic figure appeared at the battleground where our soldiers were engaged with the enemy. Witnesses reported that this entity wielded extraordinary power, manipulating events and phenomena beyond comprehension.." The young messenger told the higher-ups what the Nessus soldiers saw during the battle at each outpost they were attacking.

As the messenger continues to describe what the soldiers see the figure doing, the noble exemption changes multiple times from doubt, disbelief, and surprise to alert.

"This development is truly remarkable. If this figure can alter events, we must delve deeper into their identity and motives." said one of the nobles.

"We must not underestimate this stranger's power. They could pose a significant threat if they can manipulate elements and reshape the world. We must proceed cautiously and assess the situation before acting," another of the officials advised.

"Before deciding, we must weigh the options of pursuing them or consolidating our forces. Our priority should be our troops' well-being and our mission's success," another added.

The king of Nessus, who had been silent until now, finally spoke up. "The enemy's retreat allows us to regroup and strengthen our position. Let's utilize this opportunity to adjust our strategy and prepare for the next battle phase. If this mysterious figure is an ally, we must find a way to contact them and ask them to help us fight against the enemy. But if they are foe, we must be ready to defend ourselves and eliminate any threat they pose."

The news of the enemy retreating brightly gave them enough strength to continue the fight. However, this mistrust finger offered them their assistance, making nobles, as well as the prime minister and the king, feel cautious. They do not know anything about this figure or why they help their soldiers; they only know that the figure was powerful enough to deal with the enemy's army alone. Their power is something that the king's dome needs to look out for. They are going to need to investigate whether they can trust them or not.

"As you command, Your Majesty," the officials responded in unison, ready to carry out the king's orders.

Meanwhile, in the kingdom of Floria, reports were coming about their soldiers' devastating defeat, and the first group of heroes was sent out to help them with the first fight against the demons. They had no idea of how their forces were wiped out, which caused them to fear in their imagination and fueled terrifying rumors against their people.

Speculations suggested that the demons used some kind of dark magic, causing them to lose so many soldiers. However, the truth eluded them, leaving the kingdom in growing fear and uncertainty.

Surviving soldiers recounted a blinding light that incinerated everything in its path, leaving only ash and rubble.

The first group of heroes, the strongest among them, had bravely confronted the demons head-on in an effort to reclaim their land and shift the tide of battle. However, most of them returned to a coma, leaving the kingdom in mourning. Their absence cast a shadow over the realm as the people grappled with their condition and their fate's uncertainty.

In the castle's war room, high-ranking officials, including the king, convened an emergency meeting upon learning of their army's decimation and the heroes' mysterious fate.

An atmosphere of anxiety and tension pervaded the emergency meeting as they deliberated the devastating news of their army's destruction in battle. As well as the loss of the first batch of heroes they sent out.

The officials paced the room, deep in contemplation, grappling with the task of formulating a plan to address the catastrophic loss of their army and the heroes' comatose condition.

Some officials rubbed their temples or fidgeted with pens, while others gazed into the distance, lost in contemplation. The room brimmed with worry and concern, weighing heavily on everyone present.

Despite their diverse roles, each official keenly felt the gravity of the situation and understood the profound impact of the news on their nation and its people.

In the dimly lit war room, the king leaned forward, his brow furrowed with concern. "We cannot afford to remain passive any longer. Our soldiers have fallen, and our heroes lie in comas. We must find a way to rally our remaining forces and uncover the truth behind this catastrophe."

A seasoned general, his armor glinting in the candlelight, stood up. "Your Majesty, we need to assess our remaining troops. Morale is at an all-time low. If we don't act quickly, we risk losing not just our soldiers but the faith of our people as well."

Another official, a sharp-eyed advisor, interjected. "We should send scouts to gather intelligence on the demons. The rumors that the demons used some kind of dark magic could be more than mere speculation. If we can identify this threat, we may stand a chance of countering it."

The king nodded, absorbing the weight of their words. "And what of the heroes? They were our strongest warriors. If they awaken, they could hold the key to turning this tide. We must ensure they receive the best care available."

A healer, who had been silent until now, spoke up. "Your Majesty, their condition is precarious. I fear that the blinding light they encountered may have altered them in ways we do not yet understand. We must be prepared for any eventuality when they awaken."

The general crossed his arms, his expression darkening. "And if they don't awaken? What then? We can't afford to lose hope but must also prepare for the worst. The longer we wait, the stronger the demon may become."

The king raised a hand, silencing the room. "All good points, but we need unity among ourselves first. I want each of you to propose a plan by dawn. We will not let fear dictate our actions. We will rise from this darkness together."

As the officials nodded, a sense of purpose replaced the tension in the room. They were united in their resolve to protect Floria, even in the face of overwhelming despair.

The atmosphere grew tense as the officials deliberated their next move. Suddenly, the door swung open, and a messenger burst in, breathless.

"I bring urgent news!" the messenger gasped, struggling to compose himself.

"What is it?" inquired an official, rising to attention with frustration.

"Our ally, Albina, has been annihilated."

The revelation shocked and apprehensive the higher-ups. Albina, a crucial military ally, had supported their cause significantly. Its sudden demise threatened to severely undermine their military strength and national security.

The room fell silent, the weight of the messenger's words hanging heavily in the air. Albina, the bastion of human military might, had been a steadfast ally for generations. Its soldiers were renowned for their discipline and skill.

"Albina was one of the last strongholds of our kind," murmured a female official with a silver-haired female, her voice barely above a whisper. "Without their support, we face a dire imbalance in our defenses. They trained our finest soldiers and provided critical intelligence on enemy movements."

The general clenched his fists, his expression darkening. "We cannot allow this news to break our resolve. Albina may be lost, but we must honor their sacrifice by continuing the fight. We must consolidate our remaining forces and prepare for what comes next."

Another official, a young strategist with keen eyes, interjected. "If Albina has fallen, we must determine how it happened. Was it a sudden attack? An insidious betrayal? We cannot afford to overlook the details. Understanding the nature of their demise could prevent us from making the same mistakes."

The messenger nodded, still catching his breath. "Reports suggest a massive demon incursion, far more powerful than we anticipated. They stormed the gates and overwhelmed the defenders in a matter of hours. Survivors spoke of a darkness that swallowed the land, and it was said that even the bravest among them fell to despair."

The king, now standing at the head of the table, looked each official in the eye. "If the demons have the strength to crush Albina so swiftly, we must adapt. We need to fortify our borders and rally any remaining allies. Their sacrifices cannot be in vain."

A murmur of agreement rippled through the room, but the anxiety lingered. The loss of Albina was not just a blow to their military capabilities; it was a devastating psychological strike against humanity's dwindling hope.

"Let us send envoys to Union," the healer suggested, her voice steadier now. "We need to rally whatever forces we can. Together, we may still stand a chance to reclaim our lands from the demons."

"Agreed," the king replied, his voice firm. "We will not let fear consume us. We have to avenge Albina by standing united. Prepare the envoys and begin fortifying our defenses. Floria must be ready for the storm that approaches."

As the officials sprang into action, determination replaced the despair that had threatened to engulf them. They would fight for their future and for the memory of their fallen allies.

The officials discussed the ramifications of Albina's destruction on their military capabilities and defenses. They contemplated how to address the personnel and resource void left by Albina's absence.

Diplomatic implications loomed as they pondered how Albina's downfall might impact international relations and humanity's fate.

In the castle's medical room, the summoned students hurried in upon learning of their friends' dire condition. With heavy hearts, they entered to find their classmates lying motionless on the beds, bearing the scars of a brutal battle.

The room was solemnly silent, broken only by the sound of healers attending to the countless injured students. Faces etched with worry, the students gathered around each bed, their gaze fixed on their unconscious friends. The gentle rise and fall of the patients' chests as they breathed was a poignant reminder that their friends were still alive.

The weight of their friends' injuries hung in the air like a heavy fog, casting a somber mood over the room. Despite knowing the arduous journey to recovery ahead, the students remained resolute in their commitment to stand by their friends' sides every step.

As the medical staff tended to the wounded, the students huddled together, their expressions tense with concern.

"How serious are their injuries?" a student whispered.

"Will they make it?" another student asked, her voice quivering.

"We're optimistic," the doctor reassured, "but they will require ample rest and extensive medical care."

"The injuries are grave," the nurse replied, her brow furrowed with worry. "We're doing everything we can to stabilize them, but it will take some time; even then, we don't know when they will wake up."

The students nodded, absorbing the gravity of the situation. They knew their friends were in good hands, but the uncertainty of what lay ahead was hard to bear.

"How long do you think they'll be in a coma?" asked another student, her voice barely adobe a whisper.

"It's hard to say," replied the nurse. "It could be days. Weeks, or even months. It all depends on how their bodies respond to treatment."

The students exchanged worried glances, their hearts heavy with concern. They knew that their friends were strong, but the road ahead was going to be difficult. Still, they were determined to stay by their friends' sides, offering support and comfort through every step of the journey.

Soda Ajax slowly opened his eyes in a different room, taking in his surroundings. He remembered the battle, the pain, and the darkness that had consumed him. But now he was awake, and he felt a sense of relief wash over him. He was confused about where he was, but he started to remember what happened before he lost consciousness. He and Nakamura had wiped out a demon's army united, hiding in a forest. Just as they were going to head to a different destination, they came across an enemy that appeared to be divine. Before they could do anything, the entity easily took them out.

As Soda Ajax lay in the dim room, he felt the weight of uncertainty pressing down on him. Suddenly, the door creaked open, and a nurse stepped inside, her expression shifting from routine professionalism to surprise as she spotted him awake.

"Oh! You're awake!" she exclaimed, her eyes widening. "I didn't realize you had come. How are you feeling?"

Ajax blinked, momentarily disoriented. "I'm… I'm alright. What about my classmates? How are they doing?"

The nurse's expression faltered, and a shadow of concern crossed her face. "Well, it's been a difficult situation. Most of your friends are still in comas, fighting to regain their strength. It's a long and uncertain road to recovery."

His heart sank at her words. He had hoped for better news, but the weight of her revelation settled heavily in his chest. "They're going to be okay, right?" he pressed, desperation creeping into his voice.

The nurse nodded, and her eyes reflected the gravity of the situation. "We're doing everything we can for them. They're strong, and we hold onto hope. But it will take time."

Ajax felt a mix of determination and helplessness wash over him. As the nurse continued to explain their conditions, he listened intently, resolved to avenge them.

Later, as he lay in bed, Ajax's other classmates entered the room, their faces lighting up as they saw him awake. They soon surrounded him, happy to see him reclaim consciousness. Kouke Fuijmara rushed to his side.

"Ajax, thank goodness you're awake!" Kosuke exclaimed, her voice filled with relief. "How are you feeling?" Konsuke asked.

Ajax managed a weak smile. "I'm feeling better now, thanks. It's good to see you, Kosuke," he replied.

Kosuke sat down beside him and took his hand. "I'm just glad you're okay. We were all so worried about you." Koske said, her eyes shining with emotion. "We've all been praying for you and the others' recovery."

Ajax hung his head in sorrow. "I can't believe it. I never thought it would end like this."

Kosuke squeezed his hand. "It's okay, Ajax. You couldn't have known. We'll get through this together." The other student's voice out there agreed with Kosuke's words.

Ajax looks out his window with resolve in his eyes.

In Avernus lands, deep inside a jungle, lies an ancient temple in ruins. It's been abandoned for centuries, and no one in the outside world knows of the temple. In this place that no one should know of, a secret organization is within its crumbling walls. Using its hidden chambers and tunnels, they conduct their clandestine operations far away from the prying eyes of the demons and humans. At that moment, the secret organization was discussing several important matters and plotting its next move.

This group was the one responsible for bringing the humans to this world, while manipulating them to attack the demons, only to have them create the three human kingdoms in Avernus. After several years passed, the organization brainwashed the humans to hate demons to the core and manipulated their history, creating a false prophecy. To give them more motivation and strength, they had the pawns summon other humans from another world to assist. When summoning humans from another world, their bodies will adapt to their new environment, giving them supernatural power, more greater than the residents who live there. When the board was set, their pieces moved, with Nessus as their first opponent.

At first, their pawns were wiping out the demons according to their prediction. But their plans were thwarted by an unexpected figure. Their long-standing enemy, the Specters, appeared on the battlefield. The Specters emerged seemingly out of nowhere, striking with deadly precision and wiping out their army.

The secret organization was stunned by its defeat. It had underestimated its enemy, and now it was faced with a new threat. The enemy not only defeated its armies but also devastated the country that the organization had deemed useful. The organization was questioning its next move in the aftermath of the battle.

"Did you hear what happened to the army we sent to attack Nessus? A Specter appeared on the battlefield, wiping out the humans."

"I don't know, but we underestimate them. We need to assess our entire strategy."

"What do we do now? Our entire plan has been derailed."

"We need to regroup and figure out our next move. We can't let this setback defeat us."

"But what if we can't recover from this? What if we've lost our chance to find the song of freedom?"

"We can't think like that. We've come too far to give up now."

As the organization members were talking amongst themselves, they soon settled down as they saw the leader of their group step in front of them.

As the leader stood before his followers, he took a deep breath and began to speak.

"My kin, we all feel the weight of our recent defeat. We had a plan and power, yet we were still unable to achieve our goals. All because we thought that our long-standing enemy had departed from this world. But I want you to know that this setback does not mean the end of our goal. We are still strong, we are still powerful, and we will not let one defeat affect us, especially if it is a Specter."

He paused momentarily, taking in the faces of those before him.

"We must learn from our mistakes and adapt like we always do, and we must be willing to take risks and try new approaches. We must remain united and committed to our cause no matter our challenges."

He raised his voice, his words echoing through the space around them.

"I believe in every one of you. We have accomplished so much together, and I know we can do even greater things. So, let us not be discouraged by this setback. Let us rise stronger and more determined than ever before. Let us continue to work towards our ultimate goal of bringing back our creator that will erase the whole Universe!"

With those final words, the gathered members erupted into applause, renewed in their commitment to the organization and its cause.

"Now then, my fellow kin. It is time for us to avenge the baster who distorts our plans."

That sentence is quite everyone's because he was talking about going after the Specter, an enemy who is responsible for sailing their creator. Ever since that symbol appeared in the sky, they have trembled in fear, waiting for the enemy to appear in front of them to put an end to their existence. But now their leader seems to have a plan to get to the Specter and kill him.

Back at Chernons Prime, Aayam has been spending his days improving himself. Thanks to the fact he was doing his training in a higher dimension where physics does not have meaning, including time.

Aayam had been training in the six towers surrounding Chernons Prime for what seemed like an eternity. In the 11th dimension, time moves differently, and a hundred million years could pass in what felt like mere moments. But Aayam was determined to master his power and become the strongest being in existence.

For the first hundreds of years, Aayam spent his time training his body in Sanctum, the tower of Battle. He builds up his muscles, increases his running speed, improves his flexibility, and practices gymnastics, improving his reflexes.

Instructed by Sanctum's AI, Aayam began incorporating more fluid movements into his training. He worked on his footwork, trying to move with grace and speed. He practiced his punches and kicks, trying to move faster and more powerfully.

After a few months of karate training, Aayam decided to try something new. He began to learn Judo, which focused on grappling and throws. Aayam found the techniques challenging at first, but he enjoyed being able to control his opponent's movements.

As he progressed in Judo, Aayam also began to explore Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He learned ground fighting and submission techniques, which he found to be both challenging and rewarding.

But Aayam's training didn't stop there. He also began to train in Muay Thai, a striking-based martial art that focused on using knees, elbows, and shins. He learned how to throw powerful strikes and how to defend against them.

In addition to martial arts techniques, Aayam began training with different weapons. He started with traditional weapons like the bo staff and nunchaku, learning the proper techniques for handling each weapon safely and effectively. He then moved on to more modern weapons like the tonfa and karambit.

Through his training, Aayam learned physical strength, agility, mental discipline, and focus. He learned to remain calm under pressure and to approach challenges with a clear mind and a determined spirit.

Sanctum AI created apparitions for Aayam to have sparring sessions with to test his skills and improve his technique. He learned the importance of strategy and adaptability and how to adjust his approach based on his opponent's strengths and weaknesses.

As Aayam continued to train and improve his skills, he gained confidence in himself and his abilities. He knew that he still had a long way to go before he could truly master the martial arts, but he was determined to keep pushing himself to become the best that he could be.

After he finished his training in Sanctum: the Tower of Battle. Aayam went to Sophiathek, the tower of knowledge, containing every written article from the civilization in the universe. Inside Sophiathek was the most extensive library that anyone had ever seen. Inside, Aayam found that there wasn't a ceiling above his head but a clear blue sky with clouds moving. Sophiathek did not have a building filled with books but had a whole world full of books, scrolls, parchment, and stone tablets.

Aayam spent years in Sophiathek studying the knowledge of the tower. Time passed, and Ayam read many books, scrolls, and other reading materials on lost and current knowledge from different civilizations.

Using what he learned from the library, he went to Asclepius Hygieia, the Tower of Healing, Quantum Nexus, the Tower of Research/Development, and The Infinity workshop to practice what he learned from the library.

After years immersed in the vast expanse of Sophiathek, Aayam felt an insatiable drive to apply the knowledge he had acquired. With a heart full of purpose, he ventured to the Asclepius Hygieia, the tower of Healing, where the air was infused with the scent of herbs and the gentle hum of healing energies resonated through the halls.

He meticulously combined his newfound understanding of ancient medicinal practices with modern techniques. He crafted potent elixirs using rare ingredients he had studied, applying the principles of alchemy and herbalism to create remedies that healed wounds and bolstered the body's defenses. Each successful concoction brought him closer to mastering the art of healing.

Next, Aayam went to the Quantum Nexus, the tower dedicated to research and development. Here, he delved into the mysteries of technology and innovation, merging the arcane wisdom from Sophiathek with cutting-edge scientific principles. Aayam constructed devices that harnessed energy from the environment, drawing inspiration from ancient texts on energy manipulation. He created tools that could amplify healing energies and enhance the capabilities of those around him, revolutionizing how knowledge was applied in practical settings.

Finally, he arrived at The Infinity Workshop, where creativity and engineering converged. Aayam was captivated by the potential of his ideas and set to work, combining artistry with functionality. He designed intricate mechanisms to automate tasks, utilizing principles he had learned about mechanics and physics.

From time to time, Aaya would visit The Omniscience Vault when he was practicing his knowledge. The Omniscience Vault was the largest archive station in all the universes. It holds artifacts, art, scientific specimens, historical objects, living zoological specimens, fossils, Virology, and plants.

After finishing his training, Hologenie called for him to visit them in the central tower. One of the lasting things that Hologenie told Aayam is that before he starts trying to master origin energy, he would need to visit Hologenie again, stating that they were going to give him something that would help him control his power.

Aayam rode the light rail back to the central tower.

While on his way there, Aayam thought about his time there. His body had undergone so many changes, from a scrawny figure to an impressive build that looked like an athlete, and his intellect exceeded that of a genius from his world.

Being isolated from the rest of the world, Aayam sometimes went insane. If it weren't for the six AI in each of the towers accompanying him, Aayam would have taken his life long ago.

Soon, he arrives at the central tower. Aayam walked into the room, his heart pounding with anticipation. He hadn't seen the Hologenie in years, not since he first met them. As he approached the sleek metallic form, he felt a sense of awe and a tinge of fear.

Hologenie's voice boomed through the room, its words echoing off the walls, "Greetings, Aayam," it said. "It has been a long time. I trust that you have been well."

Aatam took a deep breath, trying to calm his nerves. "Yes, I have been well," he replied. "It's good to see you again, old friend."

Hologenie tilted its head slightly; its glowing eyes fixated on Aayam. "I have summoned you here today because I believe you're ready to learn how to control your power," it said. "The universe is changing, and your skills are becoming increasingly valuable. The time when you are needed is almost here. You'll need to return to the 3rd dimension to find pieces to the song of the universe, deal with the remnants of the Void-devour creators, and seek out any of the Specter's descendants."

Aayam nodded, his curiosity piqued. "What do you have in mind?" he asked.

"Now then, Aayam, are you ready for what I'm about to give you that would help you master your original energy?"

This was it—this was what Aayam had been training for so long, where he could start learning how to master the power inside him.

"I'm ready." Just as Aayam said that, the whole room started to shake like there was an earthquake. This was the first time Aayam felt this in Chernons Prime.

He knows it can not be a normal phenomenon since Hologenie told him this place was a floating island in space.

It was then that alarms went off inside the room, and Hologenie lit up a screen in front of them.

"An unknown anomaly has been detected." Hologenie looked over the data they received, however when Hologenie saw the data panic shook in its core. "Alert! Alert! The revetments of Void-Devourer children have reached Chernons Prime."

Hologenie's voice sounded in a panic once they realized the Void-Devourer children were attacking them.

This should not be possible. Life formed from the lower dimension should not be able to cross to a higher plain. This is because each dimension generates different energy that repels each other, like how oceans don't mix because of water density or temperature. But it's not like it's not possible to cross over, there are a few ways to travel to a different dimension, the problem is the environment on the other side. The environment in other dimensions is so different in some way that it's impossible for a life form from a different dimension to survive. Even if they manage to survive, the physics won't be the same as their home: up could be down, left could be diagonal, and breathing could be punching.

The three beings that don't have to worry about these problems are the Gods, the Specters, and the Void-devour and its creators.

The reason why the Void-devour creators haven't made their way toward Chernon Prime is because the Gods and Specters found a way to keep the Void-devour and its creators in one dimension. However, When Hologenie brought Aayam to Chernons Prime, they had to create a breach through the dimensions to reach him. When they got Aayam, Hologenie quickly repaired the dimensions, covering their traces so no one could follow them. But it was not perfected. The remnants of the void found a small hole, where Hologenie grabbed Aayam; the remnants used that tiny hole to travel through the dimensions, going all the way to Chernons with an army.

The remnants were appearing all over Chernons Prime; They all had the exact appearance where menacing and grotesque, their bodies where large, vaguely humanoid but distorted with elongated limbs and sharps, claw-like appendages, with an aura of darkness, with glowing eyes.

They began their attacks on Chernon Prime, destroying buildings, roads, and other essential facilities.

Hologenie activated Chernon Prime's defensive measures in response to the enemy's invasion.

Out of nowhere, humanoid-shaped robots began to appear. They appear to have sleek, metallic armor adorned with glowing blue accents and intricate geometric patterns.

Their armor features sharp edges and jagged lines, giving them an appearance that is both futuristic and menacing. They wear a helmet that covers their entire head, with a glowing blue visor that obscures their face. The helmet also features a set of curved, horn-like protrusions that add to their intimidating presence.

These were Chernons Prime defenders of the Cygnus.

With the appearance of the Cygnus, the enemy's attention switched from the building to the Chernon Prime defenders. Soon, Chernon Prime became a battle filled with fights happening everywhere.

Meanwhile, Aayam was running to the top of the central tower. They remembered what Hologenie had told him before leaving them.

"Aayam, listen to me. The Void-devourer creatures are attacking Chernon Prime. Our defenders have recently been deployed and are now pushing the enemy back. However, I doubt that this would last too long. According to my sensors, more of them come from the lower dimension. We do not know how many are coming, but before things worsen. I need to give you the fruit of ascension. Please go to the top of the tower."

Aayam ran in the direction that would get him to the top of the tower's spiral. According to Hologenie, ascension's fruit will help him control his power. But he first needs to reach his destination.

Boom!

Shook!

Shook!

Explode!

As Aayam was running down the hall, a giant tentacle broke through the wall right in front of him, obstructing his way and forcing him to find an alternate route to the top.

"Alert! Alert! Enemies have entered the central control tower! The central tower, Cygnus, is being deployed to intercept the enemies. Any personnel in the central towers must evacuate!" As Hologenie made those announcements, the tower shook three more times from below.

Aayam raced up the tower's stairs, his heart pounding with every step. He knew he had to reach the rooftop before it was too late. As he neared the top, he could hear the sound of battle echoing through the stairwell.

The Cygnus were doing everything they could to hold off the enemy. The Cygnus shot out lasers from their metallic hands, striking their targets with deadly precision.

As Aayam counts to climb the stairs, several doors that lead to another floor burst open, revealing Cygnus fighting against Void-devourer creators. Despite the chances and dangers around him, Aayam pressed on, determined to reach the rooftop.

When the enemy saw Aayam coming up the stairs, the creators tried to reach him, but the Cygnus moved in to stop them from getting to Aayam. His heart soared as he burst onto the roof, with the wind whipping through his hair. He made it thanks, thanks to Cygnus's heroic efforts.

The view Aayam saw of Chernon Prime was that it was in golf in flames. Thanks to his training, Aayam's eyesight could see for miles away. He could see that the battle wasn't going so well for them. The numbers of the enemies were increasing by the second that the Cygnus couldn't hold them off.

Suddenly, a violent tremor shook the tower beneath him. Aayam's eyes widened in horror as he saw a colossal monster with writhing tentacles attacking the building. Its massive form loomed over the city, dwarfing the surrounding skyscrapers. The monster's tentacles slammed into the tower with tremendous force, threatening to tumble it over; Aayam realized he had to hurry. Unfortunately, he doesn't know what to do next; Hologenie only tells him to go to the roof. But after that, nothing else. Aayam looked around his surroundings to see if he could find something. When Aayam looked up into the starry sky, he saw five shimmering diamonds, each as large as a person, with the central diamond gleaming twice the size of the others. Surrounding these radiant gems was a swirling black-and-white light dance, moving in a mesmerizing circular pattern. The lights pulsed with energy, creating an ethereal aura that seemed to beckon him.

It was then the five diamonds that were floating above the central tower began to shine brightly. It was then the place where Aayam stood. A bright circle appeared below him; gravity was turned off, and he began to float into the air. From an unknown force, he was pulled closer to the large diamond. As he was getting closer to it, Aayam crossed his arms, bracing himself to hit the diamond, but instead of colliding with it, Aayam passed right to throw it, entering the diamond.

Aayam's eyes flickered open, but a blinding expanse of white surrounded him. He blinked, trying to adjust his vision, and gradually realized that he was standing in an empty void that stretched out in all directions. Suddenly, he was drawn to a magnificent tree standing in the center of the void, its lush foliage and twisting branches seeming to glow with an otherworldly radiance. Aayam felt an inexplicable urge to approach the tree, and as he drew closer, he noticed a series of glowing orbs growing out of its bark. He reached out tentatively, feeling a surge of energy as his fingers brushed against the pulsing orbs. A sense of wonder and awe filled him as he realized this was the fruit of ascension.

As Aayam plucked one of the glowing orbs from the tree, he felt a sudden rush of power coursing through his veins. But before he could savor the sensation, he noticed that the previously immaculate white void was starting to crumble and darken around him. The once-magnificent tree withered and wilted before his eyes as if drained of all its life force. Aayam sensed something was wrong, and a sense of urgency gripped him.

With seconds ticking away, Aayam made a split-second decision and swallowed the glowing orb, hoping it would help him save Chernon Prime. As he did so, he felt a warm glow spreading throughout his body and a surge of energy that seemed to push back against the darkness. Aayam could feel something happening inside his body. It wasn't pain; his body felt warm. As the white void continued to crumble around him, Aayam focused only on what was happening inside him.

Outside of the white void, the once-gleaming city of Chernons Prime was still under siege by the remnants belonging to Void-Devourer, which seemed to be relentlessly closing in on all sides. The Cygnus, designed to protect and perfect the city, were putting up a brave fight but were slowly overwhelmed by the sheer numbers of the enemy forces.

The six towering skyscrapers that formed the backbone of the city's skyline had sustained heavy damage, and it seemed as though they would crumble at any moment. Flames rose from various parts of the city, and the distant sounds of explosions and gunfire echoed.

But the most terrifying sight of all was the three colossal titans that loomed in the distance, each towering over the city's tall skyscrapers. They were climbing the central tower and could barely reach the object over the tower where Aayam was. This was the start of the Void-Devoure creation's dream of reviving their creator.

Above the central tower, something was happening to the five shimmering diamonds. The black-and-white light, moving in a mesmerizing circular pattern around the diamonds, began to move faster, appearing only to be one color. The five diamond structures began to emit a brilliant light. The energy emanating from the object immediately affected the enemy troops near the center tower, causing them to stagger and falter.

As the light grew brighter, the diamonds shouted out several energy beams across Chernons Prime, wiping out the enemies. The creators tried to avoid the energy beams, but unfortunately, they were too slow. The beams enveloped the enemy forces, disintegrating them in an instant. The ground shook with the force of the explosion, and the sound of the blast echoed through the city streets. By the time it was over, it only took about five minutes.

It looked like the enemy had been wiped out, and Chernons Prime was now safe. Just as it seemed like the city was secure, a crack in space shattered like glass. A massive, hulking monster came from the hole in space, its eyes glowing with malevolent energy. This creature wasn't like the other that was attacking Chernon Prime. It was covered in thick, armor-like scales, and its claws appeared strong enough to cut through anything.

The Cygnus, the city defenders, rallied to face this new foe. They shoot their laser guns and thrust their laser blades at their enemy, but their weapons do not affect the creature's tough hide. The creator then crushed the Cygnus with no resistance, like they were bugs. Then, Aayam, in his Specter form, flew out of the crystal diamond, fully aware of everything happening.

Drawing on his power of the original energy, Aayam summoned a beam of pure energy that sliced through the air and struck the monster with incredible force. The creature roared in pain and fury but was not defeated yet. It charged toward Aayam, its massive jaw snapping at him.

Aayam stood firm, floating in mid-air, ready to face the beast head-on. Aayam unleashes another blast of energy, striking the creature in its weak spot.

As if the creature would allow himself to be struck by Aayam's attack. The creature releases its energy attack to counter Aayam's attack.

Their attacks collided, and the power was enough to level the entire city blocks. It seemed the two attacks were evenly matched for a moment, locked in a fierce struggle for dominance. Slowly but surely, the monster's attack began to overpower Aayam, pushing it back towards himself.

Aayam could barely hold on. He ate the fruit of ascension only moments ago, allowing him to control his power. But compared to a monster that lives long enough to master its power, it would take everything he has to win this.

Aayam held on for some time before the monster attacks ceased. He noticed that he was standing in front of the central tower. If the monster fired another attack at him and he could not handle it, not only would the central tower be endangered, but the tree where the fruit of ascension was also endangered. He flowed to another detection so the next attack wouldn't hit the central tower and the five diamonds.

As Aayam and the monster clashed, the air crackled from their energy. Aayam's attacks landed with devastating force, but the creature seemed to shrug off the blows, its scaly hide absorbing the impact.

Then, with a loud roar, the monster unleashed its energy, a searing blast of light that hurtled toward Aayam.

Despite his best efforts, Aayam was pushed back by the sheer force of the monster's attack. The energy blast slammed into them incredibly, sending them tumbling through the air and smashing into a nearby building.

As Aayam struggled to regain his footing, the monster advanced, its claws slashing through the air. Time was running out; he could feel the weight of desperation pressing down on him. If he didn't act fast, the monster would finish him off for good, and Chernon Prime would be destroyed.

Summoning every last ounce of strength, Aayam unleashed a final desperate attack. The energy blast soared toward the monster, colliding with its attack in a blinding explosion of light and sound.

For a moment, it seemed as though the two attacks were evenly matched, locked in a fierce struggle for dominance. But slowly, Aayam's attack was being overwhelmed. Soon, the monster attack will take him.

It was then, time felt like it was slowing down for Aayam, he didn't use his power to slow down time, it was the fact that Aayam knew this was the end for him. His life began to flash before his eyes. He saw himself as a child, living with his parents and grandfather in Japan. They spent long afternoons playing games and laughing under the cherry blossoms in the park. He remembered the day he made a promise to his childhood sweetheart, promising to marry her one day under the same trees.

But then came the day his grandfather died, and everything changed. His parents' once-happy marriage deteriorated into constant fighting and financial trouble. Eventually, they abandoned him in a foreign country, leaving him to fend for himself.

Aayam was passed from one foster home to another, each one worse than the last. He endured years of abuse and neglect, longing for a way out. It wasn't until he turned 15 that the government discovered he was an immigrant who had overstayed his visa. They sent him back to Japan, but by then, he had no family or friends left to welcome him home.

Aayam recalled a fateful school day when he and his classmates were summoned to save humans in another world. But when the time came to prove himself a hero, Aayam was labeled incompetent and a failure. To make matters worse, he was falsely accused of wrongdoing and betrayed by one of his classmates. His former friends hurled insults at him as he was dragged away, and Aayam felt utterly alone and abandoned.

As he was being transported, the knights tasked with his custody threw him off the wagon, leaving him to fend for himself against a horde of hellish creatures. Miraculously, Aayam managed to survive and stumbled upon a family of demons who called themselves Elira. Despite his initial fear and mistrust, Aayam found solace and acceptance among the demons, who treated him as one of their own. He even fell in love with Lilith, a demon who had helped him when he was most vulnerable.

But Aayam's newfound happiness was short-lived, as his old classmates and the humans from this world caught up with him. They snatched away everything he had built in this place and beat him close to death. Aayam was left to wonder why he had ever tried to get close to his old friends and help the humans in this world in the first place while they all just rejected him and took everything from him. Was there a reason why he wanted to be with them?

As these memories flashed before his eyes, Aayam felt a sense of sadness and loss, which caused him to let the monster push him back.

(Perhaps I should give up and die here. There is no one left waiting for me.) A heavy wave of despair washed over him, and he felt the darkness closing in. Just as he was about to give up and let the monster attack kill him, something miraculous happened that he would not expect. Behind his back, ghostly figures of the people he once cherished began to appear behind him. There was his grandfather who died when he was young, the parents who abandoned him seemed like the good old days, and his old friends who yelled insults at him at the castle stood next to him as small children like the days when they treated him as a friend. The demons that he formed a bond with began to appear beside him. The last two who appeared were Kosuke Fujiwara, his childhood friend and sweetheart, with whom he sincerely wanted to reform their friendship. Finally, Lilith Elira stood beside him, placing her hand on his.

Lilith's expression was that of a person who was telling him to live. Aayam remembers Hologenie telling him that each song that the specter gave out to the races represented something to the race, and the song Aayam represented is the song of…..

He had survived so much already and wasn't about to give up now. With a fierce resolve, he summoned all his strength and pushed back the monster's attack, determined to defeat the enemy before him. Aayam's power began to overwhelm the monsters attacked till he let out a roar. More of his power was unleashed in Aayam's attack, obliterating the beast.

************

Deep in the vast expanse of space, nestled within an isolated star cluster, there lies a singular solar system. At its center burns a brilliant star, around which five planets dance in a cosmic ballet. One of these planets, Lunaris, was once a vibrant and diverse ecosystem with sprawling forests and vast oceans supporting many species. It even had two moons that cast a gentle glow upon its surface.

But now, Lunaris is a shadow of its former self. Its once-teeming forests have withered, its oceans have receded, and its skies are choked with ash and smoke. The planet's crust is riven with deep canyons and towering volcanoes that spew molten rock and toxic gasses. What was once a haven for life has been transformed into a barren wasteland, hostile to all organisms. Yet despite its desolation, Lunaris is a hauntingly beautiful sight to behold, a testament to the power and unpredictability of the universe.

Lunaris had been shrouded in silence for eons, its surface a barren wasteland devoid of life or motion. But a strange phenomenon occurred one day above the planet's north pole. The very fabric of space began to crack and splinter as if under some immense pressure. For a brief moment, a brilliant light shone forth, illuminating the frozen landscape below.

Then, as suddenly as it had appeared, the light faded, and a massive object emerged from the rift in space. It was a floating island, suspended in midair and slowly descending towards the planet's surface. The island was unlike anything Lunaris had ever seen, a colossal structure of unknown origin and purpose, not this plain of existence.

As the colossal floating island descended towards the surface of Lunaris, its once majestic form was now marred by extensive damage. Large cracks and fractures ran through its surface, revealing the intricate machinery and mechanisms that once kept it aloft. The island's descent was erratic, and seemed to be losing altitude rapidly. It was clear that it had sustained severe damage from where it came from and was now hurtling toward the planet in disrepair.

That was the island of Chernons Prime in ruins. From the battle, they had agents of the Void-Devourer creations. After the battle was over, the energy that both Aayam and the monster he faced disrupted the 11th-dimension environment. Like living organisms, the dimension forces Chernon Prime into the 3rd dimension.

Close to the edge of the once-floating city was a figure with a long trench coat that seemed to be made out of the starry sky, its hands and feet glowing a pale white color. Although they couldn't tell, it looked like the figure was wearing a mask glowing the same pale white color and only had two holes for its eyes. The person looked up into the starry sky, reminiscent of a time long past. It had been so long since he had seen the stars; the sky in the other dimension was a tapestry of swirling colors and abstract patterns, devoid of the familiar constellations that once comforted him. In this third dimension, the stars twinkled like distant diamonds, each a reminder of dreams and memories he thought he had lost.

As he gazed at the vast expanse above, a sense of longing welled up inside him. Each star seemed to whisper to him, rekindling the spark within him. He could almost hear the echoes of laughter and the warmth of friendships that had faded into the shadows. This sky, with its tranquil beauty, filled him with determination. He was not just a visitor in this world; he had a purpose, a chance to reclaim what had been taken from him.

With newfound resolve, he took a deep breath, letting the light of the stars fill his heart. He would not let despair consume him again.
