Hayley
"Welcome Hayley, it's an honor to have you here in my home." Conrad's baritone voice served as a chilling reminder that I had been abducted.
The opulent surroundings, with their luxurious furnishings and tasteful decor, felt like a gilded cage. I forced myself to maintain a calm demeanor, suppressing the fear bubbling inside me. Conrad as always was a snake, I had no idea how he had made it inside the castle, but I had a suspicion of who might have aided him.
"Untie me this instant, and let me go!" I screamed at him while I tried to wriggle free from the silver chains that bound me to the chair. He was cautious, and while the look on his face was a calm one, I knew better than to trust the monster in front of me.
He smiled, a gesture that didn't reach his cold eyes. "There's no need for you to get all riled up, Hayley. Be rest assured that I have no intentions of harming you, all of this is just for my own safety."
