Chapter 8 - Chapter 8: Chimera Meets Kraken.

Valmus was healed to full health and beyond by his farmer?

Farmer would be appropriate since the beast was seriously raising him to have tender and tasty flesh and blood.

He was dragged by the beast tiwards the east where the oceanic lake touched the horizon, throughout the journey Valmus' Farmer was overly generous showering him with fruits, saps and nectors that most would wage war for.

He tried to sneak in a few but was instantly caught by his farmer who was actually delighted by this, the beast confused his inventory to be a space affinity or Soul nature.

It therefore also begun to feed him Space related resources as he rumbled about how he always wanted a space affinity but was never able to and that his encounter with Valmus was truly fruitful.

With the resources he obtain Valmus' Inventory expanded in absurd measures as he had already maxed out the systems inventory threshold a feat that was only accomplished in Carl's timeline after seven years since game launch.

This was a boon in itself as the system deemed it worthy for him to be rewarded for his fear ni matter how little his contribution was.

{{System Announcement:

You have maxed out the Inventory slots.

Your inventory has Evolved into a Refined Coffer.

You have Earned A Peak Space Affinity.

You have received A Medium Grade Time Affinity.}}

Valmus stared at the notification with dull eyes, as much as he wanted to be happy he couldn't reason being his Farmer sensed his sudden increase in Spatial affinity and was therefore currently salivating over the prospect of devouring him and obtaining not one but two affinities.

"Kekekeke your a lucky mortal little man, to honor your earnestly in being my dessert I will fulfill any wishes you may have." The beast cackled maniacally its laugh echoing through the skies like a clap of thunder.

'Is that right, well I know full well that i wont be eaten but escaping us surely going to be tricky.'

"I appreciate the gesture, if there's anything I would want it's more resources to nurture me. The feeling of i got when my spacial affinity grew, i would like to experience it atleast thirteen times only then will i truly reach nirvana." Valmus replied his voice was tinged with excitement, hints of regret and a somber acceptance something the beast could easily pick up.

"Is that so....that much is doable thirteen is a venerable number even to us beasts, I will honor your request." The beast obliged even in uts murderous and demented state it still had it's own honor and creed.

"So what do you want to experience a blooming in another affinity, your soul or physicality?" The beast queried with interest.

"Physicality and Soul, I want to feel the same euphoria on my body and soul." He explained to the beast not wanting to reveal his true intentions.

"But that's an odd number, six body elevations and six soup elevations what of the final one?" The beast asked once more.

"It may sound crazy and all but, I've always wanted to know how it feels to be you know be something higer than human."

"An elevated state of being, your a rather greedy little fellow aren't you?" The beast cackled, "fine you have my word, I'll grant you your final wishes."

The beast carried Valmus throughout the strech that was the central lowlands until they reached begun to taste the salt in the air as they approached the shores of the great ocean.

The Great ocean was vast and filled with horrid beings, even from a far Valmis could distinctively tell that he had just jumped out of a frying pan and into a flame that would brun for eternity.

The shores of the Great Ocean were anything but welcoming, it's beaches was filled with bones of great beasts whose towering figures could eclipse mountains.

Carcasses of beasts and other monstrosities plagued the coast as avian lifeforms dined on a fiesta of marine and earthen beasts.

Valmus could vividly see how a vulture the size of a cow dove into the eye socket of a fallen beast and devoured its brain matter from the insides.

He could see hyena like humanoids swallowing chuncks of flesh from the body of what seemed to be a mammoth but far larger.

Goblins were also present and numerous as they ate and packed chunks of flesh and bone probably yo cater for their young and wrak in theor own abodes.

The Farmer took slow strides, it was no longer as chatty as before and was now extremely focused to the point where no detail could escape the perimeter of it's senses.

It walked over rotting flesh and bone which crunched with every step it took, it then stood before the the shore where the waves touched it's feet.

"Ursula, I've come for what is mine!" It roared in a language Valmus couldn't even begin to contemplate if not for hus absurdly high mental ability his brain would have already been overwhelmed by the multitude of information that roar contained.

The Ocean stilled as even the waves refused to move, the scavengers scampered away not daring to stay when the behemoths clash. They would rather wait until one falls or both fall and they the tertiary enjoy the surplus flesh that remains.

A large tentacle shot out of the waters crashing onto the shore shattering several already broken bones, another followed suite and another and another until a Titanic Kraken stood above the waters and land its eye boring holes onto the Farmer.

"Moleri." The Titan spoke it's voice filled an undeniable sense of ancientness and majesty, but even it's majesty couldn't stop the backlash of properly saying the name of an Immortal Beast.

It's head reeled back as one of its many tentacles snapped into a mist of blood and ink, but seconds later a new tentacles replaced the missing one as the Kraken regained it's balance.

"Do you always have to do that?" M''oieri questioned, it wasn't the first time Ursala did what she did nor would it be the last.

"Your the only way i can test the heavens M''oieri but enough of that, what's that little thing you have on your fur?" The Kraken as as its single eyes sternly scanned Valmis who for the nth time since he logged in felt naked.

"An invader? Are you planning on eating this one up too?" Ursala mused completely used to her friend's appetite.

"Hmmm, it should be the beast dessert after the main meal, now give me whats mine." He demanded to which the kraken clicked in annoyance.

"How cruse are you? We've just met in about five centuries and you cant even properly greet me? I might as well not give you your thing." The kraken spat a dense clot of blank ink.

Valmus felt his body being lifted from the back of the Farmer and set onto the graveyard shore, he was then encased in a bubble of mystical energies some distance away from the two beasts.

"Come then, It's about time the Heavens know that im no longer just an Immortal King but an Immortal Emperor." M''oieri roared as he made a move his paw slashed downwards forcing the great Ocean to split five ways and sundering five tentacles of the Immortal Kraken.
