Sorrel remembered that time too well. She and her sisters couldn't change into humanoid form then, so they were still little dragons, delighting in the simple joys of playing and teasing small animals.
Their movement was often a clumsy affair since they had three heads and a small body, making it hard to walk straight.
Yet, they were happy, their laughter filling the air as they chased snow rabbits around the snow-covered forest.
As they ran after a particularly quick rabbit, they suddenly stumbled, tumbling into the soft snow, their giggles echoing through the trees.
'I told you to move the left legs!' the right head protested.
'But you are too fast with the left!' the left head defended herself.
'That's why I should be in charge of movement!' the middle head puffed their chest in unison.
'Boohhooo,' the left and right heads chorused in unison, teasing the middle head.
