It was time for evolution, but it came at a cost. Akira knew he had to rest the entire night for his body to adjust to the evolution. Normally, it would take a week for a regular person to adapt to such changes, but Akira had Alfred, who would make the process efficient. Akira wasn't worried about the location; this part of the land was secluded, and if any waves or disturbances occurred, they would likely happen at the town. Akira could focus on resting. Alfred started the process, and Akira fell into a deep sleep.
Since Akira was still a teenager, there would be several changes made to his body. His height would increase, and his muscles would grow. This process was necessary to allow his body to control the new power he was going to acquire. Without this adjustment, his body would crumble under the strain. Normally, adventurers evolve after killing thousands of monsters and have already built physiques capable of handling such power. However, Akira was an anomaly, and the stronger the anomaly, the stronger the counter the world would create for him. Despite the dangers, Akira wanted to experience evolution as soon as possible.
Akira spent the entire night sleeping while Alfred handled the rest. The morning came, and Alfred woke Akira, "Master, the evolution process is complete."
Akira opened his eyes and got up. "I feel light," Akira said. "Why are my clothes so tight? Why does everything look so small?" He was still in a confused state. He clenched his fist. "It's not just that, I feel stronger now."
Alfred explained, "Master, your body evolved to match your strength. The old body was not suitable."
Akira grabbed the door handle to open it, but the door came off. "What just happened?" Akira exclaimed, still confused.
Alfred replied, "You still need to control your strength. I will be adjusting it for you from now on."
Akira walked downstairs. Jarvis saw Akira's feet and said, "Master, I'm glad you're awake. I will prepare breakfast." As Jarvis finished his sentence, he noticed Akira's growth. "Master! You have grown this much overnight?" he said in disbelief.
Akira smiled awkwardly, "Oh yes, this is what I look like now."
"Master, how did it happen?" Jarvis asked.
As Akira opened his mouth to answer, his stomach growled loudly. Jarvis said, "I'm sorry for being so nosy, Master. I will make you a large meal right now."
As Jarvis started to prepare the meal, Lesley walked in, saw Akira, and dropped the pot and dishes she was carrying. She was shocked to see a handsome, muscular adult in front of her, his muscles straining against his tight clothes. Her face turned red.
"Lesley, are you okay?" Akira asked.
Still shocked, Lesley came to her senses when Jarvis placed his hand on her shoulder. "Ma-ma-master Akira, is it really you?" Lesley stammered.
Akira laughed awkwardly, "Yes, it's me, Akira. I just grew overnight."
Jarvis said, "Lesley, that is Master Akira. There is no doubt. Now, please pick up the things and wash them."
Lesley bent down to pick up the dishes, constantly glancing at Akira. "Master Akira is so handsome now. Not that he wasn't handsome before, but now he looks like a full-fledged man," Lesley thought to herself, feeling a strange heat growing in her body. "What is happening to me?" she wondered.
Jarvis noticed Lesley was still looking at Akira and cleared his throat. Lesley quickly picked up the dishes and started washing them. Akira said, "Jarvis, we need to leave as soon as I'm done eating. We can leave the base under Betagob's care."
Jarvis, while cooking, replied, "Okay, Master." He then brought a lot of food to Akira, who started eating voraciously. Jarvis stood by to refill his dishes.
After Akira finished eating to his heart's desire, Jarvis told Lesley to pick up the dishes from the table and wash them. Akira stood up, causing Lesley to get shy again and look away nervously while collecting the dishes. "Master, before we leave, I think you should take care of something first," Jarvis said.
"What is it, Jarvis?" Akira asked.
"Earlier this morning, Deltagob came to me asking for work, but his brute strength just damages everything he touches. Would it be okay if you get him back to work?" Jarvis explained.
"Yes, you are right. I forgot, I really need them working hard. Let's do it now," Akira agreed.
They went to the backyard and saw the mining team lying under a tree, looking bored. "Get up, everyone. I'm restoring the portal, so get back to mining," Akira commanded. Everyone picked up their tools and followed Akira as he reconnected the new location with the cave using a new magic circle, as the old one had vanished.
Once the circle was back on track, the mining team quickly teleported themselves to the mine and resumed their work. Akira then said, "Let's go, Jarvis." Akira and Jarvis teleported to the town center. Although it was noon, they saw some people still lying there, fast asleep, among them Archie and his friends. Akira conjured water and splashed it on Archie.
Archie woke up in disarray, stood up, and said, "Ooh, what is happening?" He saw Jarvis and a muscular man in front of him and quickly apologized, "My lord, I was just waking these guys here. I woke up a long time ago."
"Yes, I can see that. So, Archie, I think you have celebrated enough. Let's get to work now. Wake your friends; we will need them as well," Akira instructed.
Archie then says," Sir do I know somewhere, have we met before? You look strangely familiar. Akira found it funny and started smiling. Jarvis then says this is Master Akira Archie. Archie's eyes widened and he said," Are you really lord Akira". Akira replies," Yes I'm". Archie then says," But how? Akira replies," I'm really strong and when someone is really strong they can do anything". Archie replies," well that makes sense" while still in disbelief. Arkia then says, "we have a lot to do today so please quickly wake up your friends".
Archie then quickly turned to his friends and started kicking them awake. As they got up one by one, they tried to hit Archie back but stopped when they saw Jarvis. Akira said, "Let's go to the mansion," and teleported them there.
Upon teleporting, Akira said, "Jarvis, we need a room for Archie's office, a large hall for conducting trials, and a place for meetings." Jarvis led Akira on a tour of the mansion, with the others following behind. While Akira and Jarvis were talking about the mansion and walking, Ron then whispers to Archie,"Archie who is this man". Archie quickly quickly signals them to be quieter. Archie then says," This is lord Akira". Then Jack says," this can't be. Although the face matches but the height and muscles don't". Archie says," I asked the same thing and lord Akira said that apparently strong people can do anything". Ron and Jack were still confused. Brook then says,"You are right, that is lord Akira, he just grew over night like a butterfly". Archie then says," Yes something like that might have happened" and they all accepted it and continued following them.
Akira decided on the previous lord's bedroom for Archie's office, the previous meeting room for meetings and conferences, and a large hall for trials. The hall was wide with a high ceiling, making it perfect for trial purposes as sound traveled well in it.
"Clear the old furniture from these rooms and hire carpenters to make new furniture," Akira ordered.
"Yes, Master. What would you like this place to look like?" Jarvis asked.
"Justice is one of the main pillars of a good society. There will be a judge who has an excellent grasp of the law. He or she will decide if the person on trial is guilty. The judge will have the power of the lord in terms of giving people punishment for their crimes. As I own all this area, his word will be my word. This is what a judge is, Jarvis," Akira explained.
Jarvis and the others listened intently, eager to learn more about this concept but Jarvis had to mention the elephant in the room. Jarvis said,"Master, I'm sorry to interrupt but I think we really need you to wear something that better fits you". Akira replied,"Oh yes I do need a change of clothes".
