Callum and Sterling walked with Leila to the Farrell banquet. They did not dare leave her alone in case she encountered someone or something unpleasant again. Xavier would not let them off if anything happened to her.
Callum could not suppress his curiosity when he thought about the Campbell family.
"Why are you staying with the Campbell family?" He asked. "From that man's words, they do not seem to value you, and they are ruining your reputation instead of protecting you. If you wanted, you could just destroy them."
Leila pursed her lips a little. "I want to find out and confirm something about my past. They are the only ones who have clues. After that, I might destroy them. It depends on my mood at the time."
Callum laughed. "As expected of the woman Xavier has taken fancy to. I knew you had a plan. If you need help, you can come to either of us. We do not have much, but we will give you support."
