Campbell Family
Leila sat on Mason's study room floor and watched as the little boy dug through a huge wooden box. She offered to help him, but he shook his head hard, leaving her to watch him rummage through his treasure box.
After a long moment, he brought out a few thin books with hardcopy covers. The covers were colourful, indicating they were children's stories. Leila did not say anything until Mason placed them in front of her.
Leila was not sure why Mason was showing her the books, but seeing the expectant look on his face, she did not want to disappoint the poor child. She could see the fear and vulnerability as he waited for her to look at his treasures.
Therefore, she picked the first book with a smile.
The thin book had a royal blue cover with golden stars emblazoned on the material. The embossed texture and slight glittering colour made it a very visually striking book, which had to be attractive to children.
