The two women drank their beverages in relative silence. Leila was not in a hurry to continue the conversation because she believed in the power of silence. Allowing uncomfortable silence was one of the best ways to get people to talk.
"You are going to love my cousin," Amelia said when she realised Leila was not going to say anything. "We used to spend so much time together with my eldest uncle's family in the family beach house."
Leila's ears perked up when she heard about the beach house. She was planning on searching for information from all the Campbell properties. However, she did not see a beach property in her search.
"The entire Campbell clan used to go to the beach house for like two weeks when we were younger." Amelia continued. "But when our grandfather died, the families just seemed to separate."
