Luca frowned as he looked at Leila as she left and wondered if he had offended her somehow. He hoped that was not the case because he knew she was a friend to Phoebe. If anything, he wanted to be good friends with her.
He did not know how close their relationship was, but he always kept up with Phoebe's personal life. So, he knew they had hung out a few times in the last year, making them close enough friends.
Phoebe did not seem to have a lot of friends and spent most of her time in her atelier, but he had received news of her hanging out with Leila. If someone could allow him to get closer to Phoebe, it was her.
Unfortunately, apart from finding out that her name was Leila Lawson, there was nothing else he knew about her. She was like a ghost. After she left the Capital City, his people did not even get a hint of her journey or destination.
But it seemed like fate was finally on his side.
