Xavier was a little stunned before his eyes softened, even though they remained the same glowing red. What was this girl thinking about? He could not even remember the last time he had laughed.
"Alright."
Leila blinked. "Alright?"
"Yes. No laughing and smiling." He replied solemnly.
"You are not going to ask why?" Leila tilted her head in question. "Why are you agreeing to such an unreasonable request?"
Xavier could not resist another chuckle. "Oh, I did not know it was a request. I thought I was directly forbidden. If that is the case…"
"No takebacks!" Leila quickly said, but this time, she had the grace to blush because it was obvious that she was being unreasonable.
