Unlike the previous day, Amelia did not choose to drive. Instead, the two ladies got into the back of one of Isaiah's luxury vehicles and told the driver to take them to a coffee shop in the city centre.
"I noticed you did not carry a lot of things to the house," Amelia said. "Should we plan for a major shopping trip? That could be fun!"
Leila waved her hand. "No, no. That is not necessary."
"Is it about money?" Amelia asked. "Do not worry. Mom gave me a card to support our little outing."
"Grandma and Grandpa gave me enough money. I do not want to buy more clothes since I am not staying in Lake City permanently." Leila said while looking outside to conceal her twinkling eyes.
In truth, her grandparents did set up an account for her with a lot of money and kept adding more, especially after deciding to let Leila leave Nirvana Village. But she never used that money. She considered it an emergency fund.
