Valeria brought her to the room to have a conversation with her. Ella sat opposite to her on the sofa with confusion written all over her face. "So, what do I owe you?" She questioned, while making her stance clear to Valeria. "And why should I comply with your demands?" Ella smiled but there was an utter mock over her face. The pride was written all over her features, after all Valeria Hayden was subtly asking for help.
"You are here seeking big news which I can give you. Else you have been here for a while but haven't found any dirt on Markos." Valeria settled against the back of the sofa. She knew how to tackle the media folks for her own gain. Would have been a shame if Valeria hadn't even learned this all the years. Lifting her hand she pretended to check out her nails while speaking. "It would simply favour us both."
"Ella Millman doesn't do anything which is unfavourable to her. Correct?" Valeria smirked while looking at her. A cold eye-to-eye war was ongoing between the two ladies. "You want promotion with a big hit. I want someone to whom people listen and believe. It requires influence to make people trust the lies." Ella chuckled softly as she couldn't disagree with whatever Valeria said. Moulding and twisting was her job.
"Well, I am flattered by the praise." Making the atmosphere comfortable Ella knew that the talk would be worth the shot. "However, I am still unable to comprehend what exactly you want to convey. Sure enough, it would be big news. Otherwise you could have approached some channel or called the media yourself." Valeria knew about her expertise and the sharp brain Ella had. She was the perfect person for the work.
"Tell me, Valeria Hayden." Ella placed her one leg over the other one while confronting her directly. "What lie do you wanna sell, for which you need someone convincing?" Valeria knew what her words meant and somehow she felt proud over her choice. Valeria had already planned to play her wild card. "Someone like me, who can make your lies true." Ella was fully aware if Valeria Hayden needed help the matter would be big.
"Eager and restless. Truly a journalist." Valeria spoke with a soft tone while encouraging her to listen. "I want to spread the news that Markos Moreno is dating me and we are getting married soon." Ella listened to her carefully while making a shocking face. She didn't expect Valeria to actually exploit her stay in Moreno manor. "I am certain you can pull this off easily. Adding some spice and sizzle to the matter."
Meanwhile, Ella thought for a moment before speaking. "I certainly can. But to boost it I require some proof. You living in his house is not enough to make this rumour authentic. Do you have something else?" Valeria smiled and stood up from the sofa. Reaching beside her bed, picking up the phone she forwarded something to Ella. However, Ella had no idea what she just did and remained sitting silently in curiosity.
"This should be enough to back up your stance." Valeria glanced at her with a smirk. "Check your phone. And oh! Don't bother fretting over finding your new contact. It was a piece of cake for me." Ella ratted out from her pocket and saw a few pictures. Valeria and Markos were laying in the bed in a compromising state. Markos had no idea that Valeria intentionally planned the night. The big plan!
Hiring a photographer to click them in the bed naked while making love. All she had to do was find someone to leak the news. Someone who could spill the beans and had the tendency to spread the wildfire. Ella Millman just happened to be at the right place at the right time. Forwarding the pictures to Ella, Valeria trusted her capabilities. "Oh my my! You are a cunning lady, Valeria Hayden!"She remarked.
Ella put her phone on the sofa and stared at her. "This certainly isn't a casual fling. Isn't it?" Narrowing her eyes, she was fully aware that none of the duo was a fling type person. "Risking Markos Moreno's position and reputation like this. While intentionally smearing yours, especially at such a time when he is your biggest shareholder. What's the real deal here? What are you going to benefit from spreading this news?"
Valeria smiled at her while shaking head. "Revenge. Power flip. And satisfaction." Ella was confused at her words as much as she wished to get answers. Valeria had an utterly evil glint in her eyes. "You shall see the effects of this news sooner than you expect. It will stir a chaos in the business world." Ella smirked while seeing the woman in front of her. She was well aware of Valeria's capability to burn the world.
"Well, if you say so! When do you want me to break the news?" Ella questioned while leaning forward, picking up her phone and glanced at the photos again. "I shall plan the whole event and call some guests etc to spice things up. Well, these pictures are already enough to stir a chilly response in everyone's pants." Ella placed her phone down and looked at Valeria. "So, when should I leak these pictures and whom should I blame?"
"You can simply blame the unknown sources for such insightful news. Regarding the time span you can do it after a week. I have a few things set up yet to instigate the whole mess." Valeria's eyes glint with evil flicker, looking out of the window from the parted curtains. Ella knew that she had been planning something big. If it involved revenge then it would simply mean shaking the whole business world upside down.
"Nice working with you, Ella Millman." Valeria stood up and took a few steps forward. Stretching her hand out they both shook hands while smiling. "Likewise, Valeria Hayden." Both of the ladies had their own benefits coming out of the news. Ella Millman would certainly receive a promotion. Because digging up such dirt on Markos Moreno was a big deal. Whereas, Valeria's uncle and Castello Karman would feel humiliated.
