As soon as Finn expressed his desire to meet Thaddeus, he immediately stood up.
"Wait," Silas said, trying to come up with an excuse to stop Finn. "Why don't we do it later? Let's say at night."
Finn considered what he said, but quickly shook his head. "No, what I want to ask him can't wait. We need to meet that man right now."
Silas breathed heavily, trying to calm himself. Finn was about to do something hasty. "But we still haven't finished checking the rest of the evidence we have. Looking at them is the best we can do for now… we can see Thaddeus later."
Finn sat down. The two went back to examining the remaining evidence they had.
"Perhaps we shouldn't judge Thaddeus so easily," Silas explained. "He might be ignorant of what his father did."
