Alexa was a little pensive when she and Dominic were finally able to get off the plane that took them back to their home country. Unlike before, everything seemed foreign to Alexa now. Alexa just felt that this trip was the same as her business trip. Everything was foreign. She had no attachment to her birth country now.
"Alexa!"
Alexa immediately turned her head when she saw a familiar woman who approached her excitedly. Lisa had changed since they hadn't met for dozens of years. Her young girl features had disappeared. Her face was wrapped in a motherly aura, which still held a feeling of excitement when the woman hugged Alexa tightly.
"Oh my gosh! You're still alive! You and Vano, you've been alive all this time!"
