Chapter 143 - CXLIII ||| Little Butterfly & Friends

"I'm back," Bell said, sitting on my left.

Father arched his eyebrows, "Abellona? What are you doing here?"

I elbowed him with my right arm and he growled, "Shut it. I called her here. So, did you talk to her about what you needed?" Did she ask Haya if father is her mate or not?

Bell's cheeks turned blood red and she avoided my eyes, staring at the match, "I did, yes."

Summoning a blood-flavored ice cream─ Magnum stores are very advanced, I was surprised, ─I handed it to her. "It's of O- blood and vodka, I think you'll like it." She winked at me as she took it. "So?"

"We can talk later," she whispered, even redder.

"That sounds like a yes," I chuckled.

"Don't start now. I also want answers from you, honey!" Aye.

"Their 10 minutes is up," Shiryu and Yumi exclaimed.

When I turned around, Oliver's eyes were on me, as if he was all but waiting for me to look at him again. When our eyes met, he grinned, and turned his eyes to the team leader of the opposite team, Lalita Dharni, a fairy girl from junior year, physically sixteen, and Priya's paternal cousin. "Will you come here or will I come to you, little butterfly?"

Okay. I get that she has butterfly wings, but she's cute, why is he calling her that? I don't like it. He could call her a wasp or whatever. Isn't butterfly too cute and more like a compliment? I crossed my arms over my chest annoyed, and watched it.

But the girl didn't move, so, he propelled himself with telekinesis to go to where she was flying, and as he stood up there, a meter from her, he pointed down, making her look down at where her teammates were.

"Must be annoying to be weak and not be able to protect your teammates, little butterfly," with a beautiful mischievous grin, he snapped his long fingers and slowly, all the remaining kids of Lalita's team began disintegrating and disappearing with a painful scream. "It's you and me now, little butterfly."

Why is he still calling her like that? My annoyed frown deepened as I stared daggers at my roommate's cousin who was shivering. Clenching my jaw, my fangs flashed from my half open lips. I don't like it. I don't like it at all. I want to break this fucking barrier and break those wings of her to see he'll call her a fucking worm instead.

"What? Scared, little butterfly?" He purred too close to her. And it got worse when he held her chin up and made her look at him, and the damn fucking fairy blushed. He caressed her hair and her eyes widened softly with the proximity. Then, he slowly touched her Crown and she didn't even pay attention, too hypnotized by his beautiful face.

As he held onto the peridot crown, he grinned wickedly and turned only her wings into dust, making her snap out of it and scream with pain. "The victory is mine," he licked his lips and flashed his fangs amused.

Hah. Is he enjoying himself? Because I am not. I want to kill both the bloody damn worm girl and him. Did he really just flirt with her? Right here? In front of everyone? Little butterfly? Ugh. Little butterfly my arse. He made her look at him the same way he does to me. Hah, what a fucking piece of shit. I'm going to murder him.

"…Hel? Hel?" Father and Bell each moved one of my shoulders.

"What?" I hissed at him and then at her. "What is it?" But when I realized, everyone was staring at me, even all the people sitting down in all the seats in front of ours. And the ones at the side too. "Why are you looking at me? If you're finding me beautiful, take a photo that will last longer. Stop staring," I hissed and they all flinched and turned their eyes away. "Why were they staring?" I asked father.

"Maybe because you were emanating some strong bloodlust?"

"Strong is an understatement. It got me shivering," Bell growled.

I blinked, "No. I was not."

Felix let out a squeak behind me, "Girl, everyone felt it."

["You got jealous, didn't you?"] Jack asked loudly for everyone around us to hear. Fucking fucker.

I scoffed bitterly, "Why would I be jealous of that worm?"

Shiryu and Yumi turned to me, "No one said of who!" He grinned.

"Oh, shut the fuck up, seraphim," I growled annoyed.

"Aye, you're jealous for real," father chuckled.

I glared at him, "Keep it up and I'll kick your arse again, father."

But Mia broke the moment, taking up everyone's attention, "The winner of the first match of this year's Lunar Starfall Festival's Eclipseball Tournament is team A, from set 1, as Oliver-Sean Montgomery Strauss-Khan, team leader of team A, stole the peridot Crown from the team leader of team E, Lalita Dharni, disqualifying her and her team!" At her words, most of the arena cheered loudly in excitement, but I only stared annoyed as how Oliver held the peridot crown with grace.

Fucking bastard.

Mia kept talking about how would the next match go, but I couldn't care less since it's not mine, and I'll probably not play against either of these teams, as they are in Oliver's set, not on mine. And as the barrier went down and they ascended up with her magic, she said some bullocks about them winning, and made them float out of it, for the other teams to walk inside and the barrier to go down again.

{"Wasn't I kind?"} I'm going to kill him.

Too fucking kind, I growled.

{"What? Annoyed because I won?"} Is he grinning?

Yes, Oliver-Sean. That's exactly why I'm annoyed.

{"What is it then?"}

If you can't tell yourself, I won't waste my time mentioning.

{"What does that mean?"}

Ignoring him, I clenched my fists as my side, unable not to frown with anger and annoyance. I felt their stares on me, but I ignored altogether. That is, until Oliver and his team came up to where we were, and clean and healed, and came to seat with us. Felix got up and sat between his boys, and the other couples sat all together too.

"Why does she look so pissed?" Rio gasped, staring at me.

"She's jealous!" Even father and Bell gave me up.

"I. Am. Not. Jealous!" I growled, refusing to look at them.

Oliver came to seat near us, "Bell, can you switch places with her?"

"Hel, honey, can we switch places?" She asked me carefully.

If wasn't the fact that this will make her seat with father, I would have never agreed with it. "Whatever," I growled, getting up and giving her my seat, them sitting on hers. "Don't touch me," I hissed at him, but he ignored it and pushed the arm of the chair between us up, then he circled my waist with his arm possessively. "I told you not to touch me!"

{"I don't feel like it,"} he grinned. "You look even more gorgeous when you're jealous, you know? For once it's you and not me."

I didn't even look at him, keeping my arms crossed over my chest, "Hah, why don't you go with your little butterfly?" I scoffed and everyone around you choked on their laughter, holding it with their lives.

"Hey, don't even start with that. I had to put up with you flirting with Kalisha, Agatta, Irene, Nevena, Elsa, Yumi, Priya, Savannah, Dorothy, Yuliana, Dora, and Felix. That when you weren't flirting by bickering with Rio. So, enjoy the jealousy, because I've been suffering with that for weeks now," he growled.

"Hah. It's different!"

"Just because it's you?" He growled annoyed.

"Because they are our friends, and that damn worm isn't," I hissed before I could control my mouth, and when it was out I quickly covered it with my hand. "I mean, team mates. Arsehole."
