Why are they so tense?
I showed them the tattoos on my palms again, "I have these now, and that's why I'm not seeing spirits everywhere, but bloody hell, this part was a nightmare in my centuries on the crypt. As I said before, I was given siren's tears for too long and I stayed conscious the whole time. My mind always awake," I twisted my body to the left and then to the right, cracking my spine. "And as long as I don't have a emotional connection with the spirits, they don't get corporeal, so, they kind of roamed all around my bloody coffin."
"Ugh, they were annoying. And it got worse, since Meredith used me to multiply the amount of spirits in the crypt and they tormented the hell out of me. But they weren't the problem, the old spirits were. I met countless different races in spirit in there, all tormented, all claimed for me to help, as if I could do shite when I couldn't even more my body."
My siblings and Felix turned paler than the others, "She made you kill… she made you kill people in there?" Agost asked.
"Oh? Yes. She did. When I refused she would kill them in front of me and then torture me twice as worse. She said they were criminals," sigh. "But we all know that's probably not true. But there was nothing I could do to go against that damned pest. I had to look submissive for her to put down her guard, underestimate me, and believe I was ready to leave. I believed that was possible because Naël's spirit told me. Breaking my soul was just a part of the process, there was no helping. He said I would be able to leave one day, so I waited. Until left."
"W-who's Naël?" Elsa whispered.
"He lived way before I was born. A insanely strong born vampire, Abellona's friend, also knew my mom, and played on being a pirate. His weapons were all made by mom, when he ended up encountering her lair on the top of Everest," I began to braid my hair in two root braids, while going up and down in invisible stairs.
They gasped. "Everest?"
"Your lair was in freaking Mount Everest?" Ivar and Igor yelled.
Thankfully no one can listen to us in here. Not when I spread my time magic around on the second Agatta came in. "Yes. I grew up for seven years in there," then I gave them an ominous gaze. "Mom was also killed in there, though I'm still trying to know how her ripped body disappeared," I have a feeling Mia must have buried her.
"There's some blood tainting the walls inside, but not at all as much as there was back then. I was taken away drenched in mom's blood, and it was a lot because she was killed in her dragon form."
Agatta frowned, "Shay was murdered in her dragon? How? I heard tales that she alone was insanely stronger than most."
"Two powerful dragons gathered up against her, then used me as a threat. Pressed me on a wall and that was it. They had her weakness on their grasp, and mine too. I was hers, she was mine. She died, I'm alive. And she died because she was the dragon mother of a winged serpent, it's my fault!" I got back to walking up and down, ignoring their gazes.
"Wait!" Rio frowned. "I thought Meredith murder her alone."
"I never said she was alone!" I grinned bitterly.
"Who did it with her?" River asked.
I side glared Agost and Nicolette and got back to the ground, "A person I'm going to kill with my own hands. Someone who knows I'm out of the crypt and is terrified of me, because she knows I'll be going after her and after everything she has," I turned to River and he was also pale.
"Why was the spirit… Naël, in there?" Sabrina asked.
I crossed my arms, "He had the same magic as my mom, but it was stronger, if I'm not mistaken. And he had a vision," I grinned viciously. "A vision that got Meredith so bloody fucking terrified for herself, that she not only killed him, as she did all this to me," I pointed to Felix, "and she made Felix. The only person with nullification magic, the only magic that can counter the strongest of all: Aether. That's why I got so mad for how you mistreated him, because he literally possess the best shield magic."
"She left me in stasis for this long because she wanted to have a strong power that could counter the magic that will be used to bring her downfall," I pulled out my wings that are taller than I am.
"You?" Yumi, Noah, Irene, and Savannah asked.
I scoffed, "Me? Hell no. I don't have that!"
["Maybe. We don't know. It might be you."]
"No!" I hissed at him. "No, thank you. That would be the biggest burden ever. As if being the sole survivor of my kind, the wielder of the crown, the bringer of the army, the protector of ESC, and having to take care of this damn mission they dropped in my arms, wasn't enough. It's too much. I have no mental health for that kind of shite!"
When Nevena asked what was aether, Felix and Jack told them all I told them. And as expected, they got terrified.
"Besides," I cracked my neck. "The aether user might very well be in here with us, and it's a girl. All I know is that it's a strong person, everyone knows her, and apparently I'm blind and can't allow myself to see her. Some shite like that, which complicates my mission to find the person."
"It might potentially be you, babe," Oli finally broke his silence.
I took a deep breath, "Me? No. It's not me!" I insisted. "I do not want that kind of power. If I lose my temper having that, you will all be done for. And if it was me, I would bloody know it."
He grinned, "Mia said you haven't awoke all your powers yet."
"There is more?" Rio gasped.
"It won't be aether, I guarantee you. How would I be blind to see myself? How would that even make any sense?" I scoffed, but none of them were having it.
Irene licked her lips, "You're scared of mirrors, Hel. You literally doesn't know how you look like!"
I tensed up, "I am not scared. I'm… it doesn't matter. And I know what I look like," I mocked. "I saw a picture. Silver boring curly hair. Serpentine midnight blue eyes. Pale skin. Yay, so much to see. I looked better with my black ebony hair, though still not at all good-looking like any of you, since you're all gorgeous and shite. But nothing to do about that," shrug. "The hair of all winged serpents turn silver after they complete a thousand years old, as well as their normal eyes turned like… disgusting slits like this. I mean, yeah, I'm stuck with it, so I accept it."
"Have you lost your mind?" Agatta gasped.
I frowned, "Possibly? Yes. I mean, it would be understandable, no? Given everything that happened. I'm not psychologically healthy at all."
"Agatta, don't even try," Felix scoffed. "She doesn't listen. No matter how many times we tell her how beautiful she is."
"You say that because you're scared of me, and want to sooth shite up," I mocked. "Besides, I accept that everyone has a different opinion, and a weird taste. Oliver definitely has a weird taste if he thinks someone like me," I made a clear sign to my scarred arms, "is beautiful. But, you know? Lucky me. He's hot as hell, who am I to turn that down. If he likes it, it's better for me," I chuckled.
"But you are gorgeous, Hel!" Agatta gasped.
"The beauty is in the eye of the beholder," I said dramatically.
Priya crosses her arms over her chest, "What is ESC?"
"Yeah, why are you the guardian?" Dora added.
I clicked my tongue, "I'm the last winged serpent alive for all that we know. As a black winged serpent, that makes me their leader. Thus, the leader of their territory which can only be accessed by me."
"More like with you," Oliver added.
"Yes, but I'm not taking anyone but your in there," I winked.
They gasped, "What?" Felix yelled. "You have a territory?"
"Does it still exists?" Nevena and Yuliana asked.
"Of course, I have," I scoffed. "But is not accessable for the likes of your kinds, since it's thanks to you that my kin was almost extinct!" I like to throw this at them, I confess.
"Hel!" Felix cried, "Come on. I want to go."
"Too bad," I grinned summoning my two emerald daggers, one in each arm and trying my purple flame out, which made them all back out. "Agatta," I turned to her, who was gawking at me with awe. "When we play in September, I'll chose the same team again, and in the semifinals, I want to steal you for my team, so you will play the finals then with us," I turned to Oliver, "against my Oliver's team. So, you better get stronger until then."
He rolled his eyes, "So confident."
"Of course," I winked at him. "I was raised by Cosmos."
Agatta giggled, "I'll take that as a promise."
"You should," because I'm stealing her when the time comes. "I'll train Felix in the morning before breakfast, you at lunch, and my team after classes. That way it'll be good."
Oliver came to me, analyzing how I was using the flame, "Yes, the tattoo is working, beautiful. You are controlling it a lot better. How does it feels when you wield it? Still a bit weird?"
I moved the twin blades swiftly, the purple flames dancing with it, "Infinitely better," then I propelled myself with my telekinesis in a high jump, and sent a wild slash of purple flame burning hot to both side of the arena, then I landed graciously on the ground, looking at the daggers. "Can you hold them for me?"
"Of course," then he held the two daggers, used to it's style.
Then I summoned my katana, "Let's see this baby," then I took in my favorite stance for it and tested it out, pouring purple flame on it, and going for a long vertical slash to the left side of the arena. It definitely got more power than with the daggers, "Oh, my. They are good. The tattoo is definitely working well," I turned to him and he stole me a quick kiss.
