The plan of keeping it low and waiting for them to figure what I am?
Forget it.
I just blew it all thanks to Rio.
Always bloody fucking Rio!
His eyes widened in horror, "Bloody fucking blazing hell!"
I said nothing, but I didn't needed to. I could tell everyone was slowly putting it all together and coming to realize what I am. Coming to join the dots of all of my anger bursts. The fourteen of them present, aside form Felix and Oliver, who still were totally clueless about what I am.
Fangs out, I let some drops of my black venom drop on my tongue to make a point. "I am a black winged serpent, not a disgusting snake. I've been trying to keep it on the low. Make a mystery. Waiting for your brains to put the pieces together and guess what I am, since it's been so bloody obvious if you know what to look for. But I'm feed off. Felix learned when I got angry and blurted out. Oliver was the only one who actually figured it out on the gallery. But you? How couldn't you tell? It's been 10 days!"
Wings spread open, I flew back to stand with Oliver, who's grin was adorning his beautiful lips. And when I looked at the others, they were all with a pretty good dose of fear painting their beautiful faces.
"No need to be scared. I'm not the monster your tales talk about. My kind isn't like that at all," I turned to Oliver, "maybe the reds." Then to the others, "But not the blacks. I mean, yes, out of the seven different types mine is the most dangerous, but it's nothing like that. I'm not going to fuck the world and swallow cities. That was a load of bullshite."
Rio felt down, on the ground, "You… are a winged serpent?"
A nod, "I would show you, but you know, my serpent body would definitely destroy the tower in the process. I am about 17 meters tall and 3 meters large, after all. Well, I can show you the tattoo on my back that has an identical image of me, but that's for later. You can't tell me I didn't warn you that I was powerful, deadly, ancient, and a legendary beast."
"A winged serpent!" They mumbled haunted.
Sigh, "I am not actually going to harm any of you. No need to fear me like that. Just don't… ever," I glared at Rio, "ever, call me a snake. It's offensive and I can't control my anger if you do. My target isn't any of you. It's not you that should fear me."
Felix tilted his head, "Wait, did you just said there's 7 types?"
"There were. Before all of your ancestors got together to murder my entire kind," I hissed making them flinch. "Yellow, red, blue, green, white, purple, and black." Playing with my ring, I told them about what I know on them, "Nothing much on my kind though. I'm still trying to learn about what I am, what I can do, and all of that. Only thing I know is that the Black Winged Serpents were the rulers of all the others, the most powerful, could destroy the world but wouldn't, and," I raised my ring, "I happen to be the direct descendant of King Umbra Miralanthor and Queen Wilhelmina Miralanthor. As the only one alive, I am pretty much a… Queen."
Felix's eyes widened, "You are WHAT?"
"The Queen. It's a long story, but I don't feel like telling so far. But this ring in my finger is the Royal ring, apparently. Passed down from ruler to ruler. Wielder to wilder."
"Wielder of what?" Yumi and Shiryu asked together, still haunted.
"Of the Crown of Chaos!"
Irene covered her mouth with her hand, "The one you mentioned."
Oliver nodded, "Story cut short, we'll need the Crown of Chaos to be able to have a chance against Meredith. But our ancestors hid it on a place that no one knows where is it, with the frozen dead body of Hel's grandfather. If we find the body, we find the crown!"
"Only I can use it," I added. "Given what I am."
"Does… does Meredith know?" Henrihk asked genuinely scared.
"Nope. And if any of you leak this, or tell her grandchildren, I will murder you," I said matter-of-factly. "If she knew, I wouldn't be alive and standing here. After all, she can't use it, she's a dragon. She won't think twice before making up some excuse to send me to the pit, in the 9th circle of hell, as she warned me so many times she would do. And if I'm there, you are all doomed," I chuckled finding it suddenly funny.
River passed his hands through his hair, "Does this mean we… we have a chance to go against her?"
I clicked my tongue, "It means I have. None of you are invited to this. Expect Felix…" I turned to Oliver, "and Oliver."
"Hell no. We are doing this!" All of them got up, exasperated.
And I instantly flew a little back, "No. You're not. You have no idea what you are getting yourselves into. If I gather the group, twelve will be dying. I'm not taking the risk. I just need to find the aether user, and none of you has it. So, no."
"We are not asking, Hel!" Savannah growled.
"We are together in this!" River exclaimed.
"Hell yeah, we are!" Rio grinned.
"Hel decides it. Hel says no. Hel means it!" I said, and all of them stared at me as if I had blabbered the biggest bullshite ever. "Hel isn't in the mood to talk to you stupid kids about this. Hel is out of here. Hel is taking Oliver with her," I took his hand and ran to the door. "Queen Hel exits the premises!"
✵ 𖣔 ✵
"What the hell was that for?" Oliver burst out laughing as we got to my private cabin in the woods.
"Hel doesn't know what Oli is talking about," I continued, as I used my Serpent's Lock to lock the door. "Hel wants Oli to light up the fireplace with his purple flame. Hel still can't control hers. Hel doesn't wants to burn her private cabin down."
Giggling, he took me by my arms and fell with me on his chest over the giant red wine leather couch, "Oli is confused. Oli wants to know why Hel doesn't accepts help. Oli thinks it would make things easier," he came along with my idiocy.
Of course, he does. Because he has a link with them. "Hel knows the danger and doesn't want casualties. Hel doesn't want to make sacrifices. Hel believes that would only bring harm, pain, and misery. Hel know that way too well and does not wish that upon anyone but her enemies."
"Oli thinks Hel should let people make choices for themselves. Oli believes Hel should try to learn the reason behind people's determinations. Oli also believes she should try to let things go with the flow a little bit. Oli knows better than most that having people on our side is more beneficial than detrimental, even with the risks. Oli believes the risks are worthy!"
Sigh, "Hel wants Oli to light up," before I could finish he sent out a ball of purple flame to the fireplace without even a look at it. "Hel thanks Oli for the help."
"Oli thinks Hel should stop trying to run away from problems she doesn't want to deal with. And Oli believes she should deal with them head on instead, because it would be better for her," he pressed my cheeks with his hand and kissed me one, twice, thrice. "Oli thinks Hel should stop giving him this look, otherwise he'll lose his control and jump on her again." Just like that, his eyes changed.
I licked my lips, "What look?" I whispered.
"A look that says I'm the most beautiful person you've ever seen and you can't stop looking at me. That says you're on the edge and heavily considering throwing this work aside and letting me try to make you love me again," he whispered with the most hypnotizing look in his red eyes.
"You're reading my eyes too well," I sat up on his lap, straddling his legs, then I spread my time magic around us, freezing time. "I need you more than I want to," I nuzzled my nose on his. "I'm shameless," I kissed him. "So, show me you're shameless," I unlaced my corset. "Bite it on my neck, why don't you?" I grinned, as he stared at me intensely. "I want you to give in," I began unbuttoning his shirt from his chest, "I want to do this now," then I took it out and did the same with the one I'm using. "I need you more than I want to, Oliver!"
I could hear as his heartbeats sky-rocketed, as his eyes got crimson, as his fangs popped out, as he stared at me with hunger, "You will be the death of me," that's what I fear. "We're both shameless, beautiful," then he kissed me hard, while taking his belt off. "I'm so addicted to you..."
