It was dark when Joe returned to the hospital. When he was about to enter Sammy's hospital room, there was Ben who was also about to go inside.
Ben opened the door first and immediately muttered, "Where did I sleep?" asked Ben while looking at Joe who didn't know anything.
It was only then that Joe realized that Ben was referring to Viona sleeping in the chair beside Sammy's bed. His heart warmed at the sight. He smiled at Viona who was sleeping with her hand still faithfully holding the little one's forehead.
''It turns out you've made your choice...' Joe murmured happily.
"You can sleep in the other bed, right?" Joe responded to Ben, glancing at the empty bed on the other side of the room.
"What about Viona?" Ben asked again, pointing to Viona who was currently so fast asleep that she didn't even notice the brothers' arrival.
"You'd better go home and let her sleep in that bed," Joe replied as he closed the door quietly.
