Barbara kept staring at the man who confessed everything he knew about Aurora. She could not believe what she had heard! She was simply a manipulative and greedy person! How can she do that?
Still in shock, she blinked her eyes multiple times, taking all the information she heard.
"Release me, please! I have told you everything I know," the man begged.
Kristie walked closer. "How can we trust your words?" she asked.
"I worked under Baron Clement for years and I have seen Aurora when he announced that she was his future wife," the man stated.
Kristie turned to her. "He must be telling the truth," she said.
Barbara nodded. "We cannot let her do as she pleases. We had to inform my parent," she said, turning to leave, upon seeing Kristie standing still, she stopped.
"Why are you standing? We have to go," she said impatiently.
