"I got a letter from the Acacia Academy. Hans has got in a fight!" the baroness exclaimed. "It's good that you came. The tea party is planned for the evening and I do not know what to do." The baroness kept fidgeting.
Barbara frowned. "I will go and check. You need not worry," Barbara assured her, leaving. As she rode in the carriage, she let a sigh out of frustration. She rubbed her aching forehead as she had been running nonstop since morning.
Thinking about Hans, she shook her head. The Acacia Academy's president was known for his hate of troublemakers. It was the worst to happen to Hans to be written on that list. She had proposed a two-month duration to see if she would adapt to life inside the Academy. If not, she would get him out, hiring a teacher for him, but he did not want to wait until that period!
With a rising anger, Barbara balled her hands.
