Chapter 84 - She was lost

Following that incident, the confession and clearing up of their misunderstandings, Valerie no longer tried to hide her feelings and was straightforward with Maximus, thus, not doing anything that could get Max angry.

Even if she did, doubt that he would actually get angry because as of late, the only eyes he had on when staring at her were that of love.

He'd also want to jump her from time to time and act like a beast, leaving bite marks all over her body and marking his territory. (He still didn't go all the way, mind you)

He even started feeling jealous when his mother pulled Valerie to herself.

"Jeez, you're making me jelly." Tiana said, watching with knowing eyes as Max held on to Valerie tight with his arms around her waist. "Has the storm finally cleared up?"

"Yes, mother." Valerie answered with a bright smile, bright enough to blind her that she wore sunglasses to shade her eyes.
