On the way back, they stopped at a restaurant, ate steak, and then went to a coffee shop. Those were some of the few things they hadn't been able to do and had been looking forward to.
"It's late." Valerie said, looking out the glass and viewing the people as they passed by, going about their daily lives. Then, she returned her gaze to Max and then the coffee in front of her.
"What is it?" Max asked, noticing her wandering gaze.
"You know, coffee has a lot of caffeine." She suddenly said and Max looked at her, wondering what her point was.
"That's a given." He said and sipped his coffee.
"Well, caffeine has a lot of adrenaline." She added and then moved her legs underneath the table towards him, slowly sliding her foot up his leg in a seductive manner, and said, "Too much adrenaline means we'll be awake for quite a while, busting with vigor and excitement." Slowly, she licked her lips and grinned. "Don't you think it'll be a wonderful night?"
