Sometimes our life takes the sharpest trun when it's unexpected. One such turn changed my life forever, I don't know whether it was for good or bad but it still captivates me whenever I remember it.
It was an ordinary day when it started.I was half asleep when the phone rang. I was really not into my senses to be able to read the caller's name at once. Maybe it was just yesterday's hangover. I drank a little too much. I read the name slowly and precisely,"B..O.." and it said the worst caller's name! "BOSS" . ( To be honest, it wasn't saved in the way I am narrating but I just can't tell it out to you all, you know!) My whisper soon turned to a scream when I got to know that it was more than late, I had to be at the office for an important meeting for which I had given up on my weekends and finally got to party when the things were ready. For the next 5 seconds I was just in a dilemma whether I should pick it up or let it ring. With a determined answer, I picked it up after which I regretted it.
I picked the call up and greeted,"Good morning sir, I..." But without even listening to me he started yelling at me! Yes, it was my fault but everyone knew that I was the one most excited and concentrated for this day. He screamed out of the phone as if his voice would burst my eardrums. I couldn't hepl but listen. At last, I tried making an excuse," Sir, it isn't my fault, actually.." Again he repeated the same act and interrupted,"Then, are you trying to blame it onto me or your colleagues or even better, the President of Daisy groups? You better be in my office in half an hour otherwise I will have no choice but to give this project to anyone else! "
"But sir .." I tried to make up.
"The meeting is scheduled at 12 noon but make sure to reach in half an hour otherwise be SUSPENDED" he yelled unbothered.
Frustrated, I had no other choice but to to leave, in haste.
