Kevin's second day working at the café felt a little easier than the first. Although his body was still adjusting to the new rhythm, at least he was starting to get used to his new job. The café where he worked, Café Nocturno, was always bustling during lunchtime. Most of the customers were office workers looking for a place to relax for a while amidst their busy schedules. Kevin stood behind the counter, occasionally watching the guests come and go. He hadn't anticipated that this part-time job would take up so much of his time.
Meanwhile, at the Star Write office, Cassie was fully engrossed in her work. Across from her, Liliana was busily typing something on her phone. "Hey, Cass," Liliana suddenly called out.
Cassie looked up. "What's up?"
"Let's take a break. There's something I want to show you at our favorite café," Liliana said with a mysterious smile.
Cassie furrowed her brow. "What is it?"
