After a few hours of sleep, Liam woke Kai up. He knew the blonde enjoyed sleep, but he felt doing something might improve his mood and help to take things off his mind.
So there they stood in the parking lot of the mall, both leaned up against Kai's small, blue car.
Liam reached into his pocket. He pulled out his back of cigarettes and lit one. He took a long puff, then glanced down at his fiancée, who looked disappointed. "What?"
"You still smoke?" Kai asked. He waved his hands to get the smoke out of his face, then backed away a little, so he wouldn't feel like he was going to suffocate from inhaling toxic fumes. "It's bad for you, you know. I thought you quit."
"I needed it to relieve stress," Liam replied. "There's been a lot going on."
"That's a terrible coping mechanism."
"So is locking away your emotions."
